Doing the PIF Happy Dance. Of course this is just from the TA. I will have to wait to make sure Disney has it posted. Our flights are booked through Disney so TA says we won't know times until mid July. I have nightmares of leaving at 5 AM with a bunch of layovers or not arriving in LA until mid afternoon. Waiting is so hard.
I have to send my laptop back to HP and probably won't have it for the 19th. Our desktop is so slow and it is in the bedroom so I guess DH is staying up with me. But the warranty expires in June and I want it for TOAL so I can download pictures.
I finished my FE. I just have to take some pictures and post. It came out pretty well I think. Pirate fabric as the background and Mickey/Minnie heads on the pockets with a pirate flag and pirate chest.

We might not even bother with making Palo reservations till after the announcement of theme nights. I hate having to worry about changing them afterwards or wait till on ship to try and change.

We are going to book the dinner on Aug 22 no matter what as that is our anniversary

OK, If you look on the DCL Shore trips site for Cabo and Puerto Vallarta, there are a few 'private tours' private car or van hire, you can book these NOW, and you will pay on May 19th for these.

Basically instead of going on a tour bus DCL can organise you to have a private vehicle. Its driver/tour guide as one yes.

I "won" it from Ebay..ok..it was a Buy Now kind of thing but it was to my personalization.

I am getting her information to pass on to whoever wants it. She currently does not have any FE up on Ebay..she is going out of town for a couple of weeks and that mey be why. I sent her an email. I am really happpy with it. It cost $25.00 plus $5.00 for shipping but I could choose my colors, if I wanted pirates, basic Mickey, Minnie or Princess and what I wanted embroidered. I am so craft challanged it was worth the money not to be stressed out. (I will be in the craft challenged shunned group - drinking away my sorrows - oh wait..I have a child..another group to be shunned from! I will be in the corner and hiding and drinking away my sorrows!)

I just called my TA and left a message asking her to confirm that DCL shows us as PIF to avoid any surprises.

DH and I went over the excursions last night...I think the only one we are booking is the Best of Cartegena. We wanted to do the cliff divers in Acapulco but since the show is at 1p.m...I guess that leaves that out. We rented a car for Aruba.

PV and Cabo..we have been there done that so Cabo..it's off to Cabo Wabo for us.

Cartegena thats one of my options but I am leaning towards the mangrove tour.

Cliff divers the DCL tour will include them at an earlier time.

I just rec'd a response from the FE seller. Her user ID on Ebay is : Gradysmommy and she will be in Hawaii until the 13th of May. She will post on Ebay again when she gets back. She is also a Dis-boarder! (I found out when I asked if I could have a user ID personalized in the Mickey head!)

All this talk of excursions made me think of this…

The Esteri-Sk8ingmom Interchangeable Family is charting a sailboat & captain in Cabo. The company we went with has 2 boats. We booked their big boat

but they have a another boat if a smallish group of pirates (6-8) is looking for a similar adventure. It was still available a few weeks ago.

While I can’t officially recommend this company since we obviously haven’t sailed with them yet, I did quite a bit of research and this seems like a good way to go.

I went cable hook-up for my computer just because of the 19th booking!! I hope computer is fixed soon!!!

The tour we wanted was Acapulco City Tour with Cliff Divers. There is also Acapulco, Shopping and Cliff Divers. Not sure how that will work. In my Passporter..it says that it is near the Hotel Mirador..not sure exactly where that is but hopefully that helps.

I think they can do it at any time, and on the DCL tours they can 'change' arrivals on different coaches to avoid, congestion at places,

For example a tour starts a the fort, another goes around the city and bay.

My guess is the cliff divers will be later in the morning, as they do not normally have a show at that time and will not want to hang aorund a long time before there usual start time, not sure if the warmth of the sea has a factor, I prefer ''jump' in later in the day.

Any tour that includes a city or bay tour will do that first, the traffic builds up fast during the day, so they will want to get that bit done early avoid traffic, and of course shops and market will not be open early.
