Anybody know what time the excursions/palo reservations will open online 5/19 for castaway members? (IE: 12am est, 8am est, I'm having a senior moment about this) Sorry if this has been discussed previously but the old message lists is a tad long.

I'm not 100% certain of that. I guess I can always go in, if I wanted to change something......
Someone wanted to know the times of the dolphin excursions, and I'm hoping to find out...unless the system won't even let me look at other excursions once I've booked mine. In other words, you know how it cross-references, and tells you what times would work for you? So I may not be able to get the full picture. Will just have to play with it tomorrow and find out.



And remember you can't pack it in your carry on!

And therein lies the dilemma! Maybe we can "borrow" a steak knife from Palo and share it.
Would scissors be okay in the checked bags? Yet another thing for me to check out on the June cruise.

I would love to know what times the sea lion and signature dolphin swim are in PV. That is the only one we are having timing issues with.

I bet you are right though, once your excursion is booked, it probably won't list the times for the others that conflict with it during the same time window. I forgot about that.

I'll let you know . . . it could easily take an extra day for me to get mine . . . I always find that mail into or out of Manhattan seems to take a little longer. So hopefully it will just be here on Monday. After all this whining, it's going to be embarrassing how silly the actual thing is!

I just knew when I stepped outside all the lurkers would come out of hiding.

About the knife thing. Our first cruise we got a message from security they confiscated a leatherman and to stop by upon leaving the ship in PC. I didn't know what it was but it is a handy all in one tool. Now we didn't pack one to begin with. But DH was so upset about it.Kept thinking he was going to be in trouble. We were bussed home from Ft Lauderdale and didn't get a chance to stop by security. Called them and they said not only did they have the leatherman but a knife as well. Now he was really freaking out. Went back to my cruise meet board and one of the girls was upset her husbands knife was missing. She brought it to cut the ties she had on her luggage.I was able to get her connected to DCL and all was well on her end. . We got the stupid leatherman in the mail and still don't know who it belongs to. Of course they got the room #s all wrong so be careful of what you pack. They do scan the luggage. I intend to bring a manicure set which has the clipper in it. Hopefully that will do the trick.

A really great Doctor Who tonight.... I understand being shown on the USA Sci Fi channel at 8.30pm, on Fridays, two weeks behind us.

Pollution all over the world including seeing it come in over New York, but the Doc saves the day!

Zip ties can be found in your local supermarket usually near the area where all the light bulbs are, well in our supermarket anyway. Or you can just purchase them at a hardware store, Home Depot, etc

You should be able to get them in the hardware dept. at Walmart. Like 1000 of the for $6.00. Most likely will have smaller packages too.

Hi all,

I'm finally climbing aboard... the DIS Board. Been lurking for months but just haven't had the time to sit down and formally introduce myself. Please forgive this old pirate!

This is our 4th Disney cruise. I'm Amy and I'm cruising with my DS - Matt. We have a GTY-4 for now with late dinner. We're still mulling over the excursions and trying to decide which ones we want to do.

We've signed up at the Pirate Zone and been reading up on all the activities. Wow, ya'll have been busy with the planning!

We're celebrating two graduations -- Matt from high school and mine from college.

Looking forward to meeting everyone!
