Hope everyone has understanding school officials. Golly, you just can't get more educational than riding through the Panama Canal.
We're lucky not to miss any school, but I agree about the educational aspects:thumbsup2

Some pics of me and Mum on our recent trip in Hawaii. Please note the rats, and also the Pooh and tink t-shirts ;)
Love the pics Paula:thumbsup2 Looks like Maui-Lahaina:confused3

Does anyone know what happened to my weekend? Last time I looked it was right here with some dancing bananas.

Have a good one.
Darren was just complaining about the weekend as well:lmao: Still bummed that his baseball game was rained out and a little worried about tomorrow too.

Thought I'd share some spring with you all.

The magnolias are really pretty this year. Sometimes a frost will get them.
Beautiful :goodvibes Thanks:thumbsup2

Here are a couple of pictures from my rental cleanup.

And she called the police that I was throwing away her "valuables". :confused3

At least it is cleaned out now. Now to just repair it.:sad2:
WOW:scared1: Good thing you took pics:sad2:

Glad you were pleased with them...I ordered 2 from her last week. Haven't gotten them yet, though.

Kim

I only ordered one and got it in about a week or so. It may depend on the number of orders she gets though. The embroidery was very nice, she must have a good sewing machine:confused3

HAPPY BIRTHDAY APRIL

I just got a phone call from Chase about my Disney Visa card - apparently someone has gotten ahold of the number and has made over $600 in charges over the last 2 days. They are reversing all the charges, contacting the 3 credit bureaus, closing the account and issuing me new cards. I'm going to have to review the statement for our other accounts to make sure there aren't any fraudulent charges on them as well and pull a credit report to see if there are any accounts that have been opened recently. Does it never end?

:scared1: That's horrible.

Yikes Lorri! I'm glad it was caught before it got really ugly...not that $600 isn't ugly enough.

...there goes that loud buzzing in my ears again...

So....after that long and not so nice letter to Delta that DH sent this is the response we got from Delta - NOT HAPPY

OK, well that is total carp.

On a lighter note...we did get Mickey mail today FINALLY! I was so excited to get my mail today:cool1:

It looks like overhead bin space will become even more of a premium. Wasn't my least favorite airline, United, the first to implement this wonderful new policy of charging for extra bags unless you're one of their best frequent fliers?

We've already talked about having each of the kids use a carryon on our next flight if they begin charging for extra bags. Generally, we only fly with two carry-ons for all five of us.

We rarely use carry-ons beyond entertainment for the flight and my laptop...

Guess that will be changing if the airlines all start this.

I got a very similar email from them also. I expressed my understanding of them cancelling my 3 direct flights and giving me layovers, but didn't think the extra luggage fee without a going forward date was very wrong on their part. All the other airlines have an exemption for when your ticket was purchased. Right now I have 3 trips scheduled with Delta.

This is the only trip it will really pose an inconvenience for us. Guess we'll each be carrying on for this flight. I just dislike dealing with the luggage while waiting for the next flight.

Same here. We will be taking the biggest carry-ons for each of us in addition to the largest bags we can check and we will EACH have personal bag (purse, briefcase, laptop bag). And I probably wont fly Delta again unless they change their position on this.

I do mortgages and I have some customers that are buying foreclosures. This happens fairly often. What I don't understand is how people can blame the mortgage company (or landlord in your case) for their own personal problems. I would be humilated and leave as quietly as I could, I wouldn't destroy the place. UGH!

The problems we have here is that people are going into these homes and stealing all of the copper piping. We had someone buying a home from one of our borrowers as a short sale. They all went to the closing and when the buyers went to the home all of the walls were busted and the pipes were gone. The former owners did not do this - they moved out the week before closing and the buyers did a walk through 2 days before closing. Heck low lifes around here also steal alum downspouts off homes and copper off churches. SCUM.

Hey Lisa, did you see this?

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23995858/

Black armbands and safety pins all around.

They put a parking lot on a piece of land
When the supermarket used to stand.
Before that they put up a bowling alley
On the site that used to be the local palais.
Thats where the big bands used to come and play.
My sister went there on a saturday.

Come dancing,
All her boyfriends used to come and call.
Why not come dancing, its only natural?...:mic: <= that's my little punk rock guy.

:sad2: If people would just put as much effort into being productive members of society, the world would be a much better place.
