Okay....This is realy Cheryl(MICMSE2003). i AM AT DAUGHTERS HOUSE FOR THE DAY. Naturally went shopping and found $20.00 fancy childrens hoodies for $2.97. Not too bad but that was it at Penneys.





Okay I found a decent rate(no view) for $20 more than I was getting the Marriot at Lax. I am some phone calling to do yet. I will let all of you know!!

I called Prime Time and said no problem with 4 suitcases and carryons. John called and Prime time said we would need a private car for that much lugguage for $80. I am going to talk to Supper Shuttle now and seee what they say.

I was also told to talk to someone in group sales at Doubletree if there are 10 rooms. I might see what they have to say.

You know that is mighty interesting. We are looking into options as far as transportation and there are 6 of us.

Cheryl- I put in 4 bags when I calced the rate and what I quoted reflects that. I would sure make that argument since their own website had that rate for 2 people w/ a total of 4 bags (not including carryons).

I just got a phone call from Chase about my Disney Visa card - apparently someone has gotten ahold of the number and has made over $600 in charges over the last 2 days. They are reversing all the charges, contacting the 3 credit bureaus, closing the account and issuing me new cards. I'm going to have to review the statement for our other accounts to make sure there aren't any fraudulent charges on them as well and pull a credit report to see if there are any accounts that have been opened recently. Does it never end?

There is so much fraud out there. Lorri you can get a copy at annualcreditreport.com. Free if you didn't know already. Just make sure you update your account number with any auto billings.

Half the sky is still cloudy. Thank goodness the rain stopped. The poor dog ws shaking all weekend. Watching the USAir site to track DS planes today.His first leg takes off at 12:42 which is 3:42 my time.

Good luck with everything Lorri. At least they caught it right away and reversed the charges. My brother just noticed 2 payments on his credit card statement to a Paypal account. They're looking into it, but they keep asking with for his Paypal account info. The problem is, he has never had a Paypal account, so he can't give them any info.

Penny how much does the prime time shuttle run from LAX to the Port??? We are still trying to figure out if we should do DCL tranfers and say at the port Saturday night or Stay at the Marriot Hotel at Lax Saturday night and take the DCL transfers Sunday moring???
From LAX to the port.

There are 6 of us. We are taking the 7 passenger private van and adding a stop at Vons. To add the extra stop at the grocery store you have to call Prime Time to make the reservation, you can't do it online. I don't remember the exact total, I'll have to check my notes when I can but I will let you know.

Also, the only difference between the 7 passenger and 9 passenger van is that you are adding two more people in the van which ups the price. The vans are the same size.

Wow! My best friend and Uncle live in Rio Rancho.
I miss NM too. It was a great place to grow up.
We went to Roswell last a couple of years ago for my Grandmothers funeral. We took a side track to Carlsbad caverns. It was a blast and the girls loved it!

Wow...small world! Rio Rancho's a nice town, especially now that they've really built it up. Used to be that you'd have to go into Albq. for just about everything. I'm amazed how much it's changed everytime I go back!

DH and I always say that we're going to retire in Las Cruces. Of course, we've got to get all the kids out of school first so we've got a ways to go!

Andrew, it always depresses me when the frost gets things just as they are blooming or getting ready too. Sorry you all had snow.

This is why we fly Southwest. If prices go down, we can rebook at the lower price and use the excess for a future flight. We watch the daily "ding" to see if those prices fall and rebook immediately. You have up to 12 months to book a flight with the credit. For us, that's no problem as we're heading to WDW at least annually (well except this year but we are at least stopping at DTD before flying back). Plus, they allow two bags to be checked (at least for now). I think I'll be printing off their policy tonight!

We haven't flown in years, but we're booked on SW also. If you do see your flight at a lower price on the "dings", do you go cancel your original flight and then rebook with the credit? We bought 6 tickets so I'd be kind of afraid that when I went to rebook, we wouldn't be able to get all 6 seats.

How frustrating. We have had this happen on our Amex card. We recently had BofA send us new ATM cards because they said that our accounts had been compromised..... Rotten people out there looking for easy money.

Hope it gets cleared up soon without any problems.
