Ugh....Skybus just ceased operations. 3rd Airline to go out this week. I was worried they were going down when the CEO quit two weeks ago and they replaced him with a 36 year-old hedge fund manager...that and the VP quit this week.


To Deanna and her family. They also had $10 tickets to LA and back from Florida.

OH SH** We had skybus tickets for July to fly to Ohio to visit my mom - it was cheaper than driving. Doggone it all, now I gotta hope we get our money back. i need to get DH on it right away I guess.

Well isn't THIS just the topping on the dumb piece of pie that this week turned into ... would have liked to say but the week wasn't bad enough to make a bad word We had booked these tix home from FL after TOAL ... now I need to make new ressies AND attempt a refund

Sorry we missed your call ...We switched our Embarq services few weeks ago to add DSL and nothing's been quite right...We must of just missed your call..I took the DDs and one of their friends out for ice cream . Of course, up here, the two ice cream shops are closed by 8pm, so we had to do McD's.

The Delta fare is good. Very quick recovery. I think it's good that we found out now and had plenty of time to make alternative plans. We will bug BIL for some Southwest vouchers.

It is just about 15 miles farther than flying out of Cleveland and costs 200.00 cheaper - kicker is we fly through Cleveland..... BUT we will be in LAX around 10:30am....

We decided not to wait any longer and decided to choose and airline one can "trust". and before the add the extra baggage fees.

That was a great deal!!!! Yes United is asking for extra fee for baggage but we bought before the new rule!! I could not imagine 1 suitcase for 15 nights.

i was very particular about my photo which is why i know that they must scan the photos and then stretch them somehow in the square because every one of ours looks a little distorted.

Yeah.
Mine not only takes up the whole box while theirs are all off to one side with a big space on the right of their picture- but it also looks like my face is puffier/fatter than it was in the original photo! And it's kinda blurry. You'd think they'd make the photos more clear- I mean they are real particular on the photo you turn in- but then they make the picture blurry, distorted, etc. when they put it on the passport? This photo doesn't even really look like me- it looks how it would look if someone made a balloon to look like my head. LOL

It works... we don't get on till 9 est

so it doesn't work at all until 9 est? It wouldn't load. I figured I'd get on and maybe no one is theret yet but I didn't know it didn't work at all/wouldn't load until that time?

I had been reading earlier posts about receiving your cruise kit so I want to throw my hat into the ring with those that HAVE. The two boys were fired up and read it cover to cover . . .LOL

Sorry I missed the chat tonight. I was really looking forward to it. I think on Friday night's I just zone out b/c we don't have to get up or do anything the next day. . .hey and it's PORING rain right now (calling for 2 inches of RAIN) so I think my son's little league game will be cancelled as well. . . a whole free Saturday . . .what's a girl to do.

She'll be on my stomach to the right of my belly button - her wand will be above it. I was thinking of getting my belly button pierced too but I might be having some fourth or fifth thoughts on that since I spoke to them today - up to 2 years for it to heal.

I have my BB done and it took ages to heal - years! and then occasionally it would flare up and get infected again. Very annoying and uncomfortable. I tried switching from ring to barbell but it didn't make much difference.

The only trick I have found to heal the darn thing was loosing weight (fell off my bike and fractured my jaw.) Just need to keep the weight off now.

Well Cheryl....

.... one of my longest runnin' best friends has worked for Epson - a major manufacturer of ink jet printers (for professional photographers anyways). And as such he has oftne dropped muted remarks on how significant INK sales were to Epson. I never gave it much thought - but now that you've mentioned it... 52 hundred sounds a bit stiff now.

OK guys caught up from the last 10 pages and tootired to do any more. DH and I ended up coming to the roo and the girls made it to DL they rode POC and Indy and a few others but I'm having trouble keeping my eyes open. As i mentions elsewhere - I guess I am coming to the conclusion that I am getting tired. So sad. THe end of an era!
