I already scheduled Monday off....
OK - it was supposed to be 91 degrees and instead it is 100!

This is not bragging because it is just too darn hot!!!
DD is giving the dogs a bath and I'm sitting here board to death. I'd help her but seems I've developed this almost unbearable tennis elbow. (Might have something to do with suddenly becoming the unofficial photographer for St. Paul. Seems that Brother Michael has taken toasking me to attend all some of the sports events he hasn't been able to take pictures of such as the track meets, baseball and now softball.....) SO......I will make a token appearance once she's almost done - the worst part about the heat - DH doesn't think the pool water needs to be heated - to me - its freezing. And really if the dog doesn't want to go into the water with this heat - can you blame me?
Lisa will appreciate this, we took our 2006 (and only) cruise a week after Invincible came out. Great to see it for "free" on board the Magic!
very cool.
On our first cruise my oldest DS wanted to see POC 2. We were sitting in the room & it was late (between 11 & midnight) & I saw the movie was starting in about 15 minutes so we booked over. The theater was mostly full, but we found two seats towards the middle of a row... 'scuse us, pardon us, sorry, 'scuse us...
well, about 15 minutes into the movie, the sea sickness started to take me over. I was sweating & thought I was going to pass out in the theater. We needed to get out quick. People we're peeved that we were trying to get out of the row. Now I take my Bonine the night before & again on the first night.

Looking for a magical martini? Disney chain's cocktail bars capture prize as nation's best
Scott Powers | Sentinel Staff Writer

Mickey Mouse is getting a reputation for mixing great cocktails.
Walt Disney World runs America's best chain of cocktail bars, according to Cheers magazine, which also called Walt Disney World's signature libation a "dream-like" martini.
The trade magazine for full-service restaurants and bars said the company's usual attention to themed detail and operational efficiency has made the resort the nation's "Best Chain Overall Beverage Program."
Disney's "Blue 'Glow-Tini'," won the magazine's "Best Chain Signature Drink" prize.
Cheers touts its annual awards as the industry's top honors. Winners were selected by peer judges, and prizes were presented in late January, though Disney World waited until late last week to note its wins.
Cheers writes that Disney's cocktail business "delivers a little Disney magic in every glass." In this case the magic is not produced by pixie dust, Disney said in its press release.
The resort overhauled its alcoholic drinks and standardized its cocktail menu in late 2006 as part of the "Year of a Million Dreams" promotion.
"That joy and fun carries over to our beverage menu," said spokeswoman Andrea Finger.
They wouldn't have been even more peeved if you didn't make it.![]()
Of course, Todd is campaigning to get the three POC movies in the big theater....
Another thought is that there may be less movies around the Goofy Pool if they show the Olympics on the big screen

I need help from the crafty people, please.
DS11 needs to create a model of an endangered animal. It needs to be the size of a shoe box & it needs to be able to hang from the ceiling in the classroom. No beanie babies, stuffed animals, plastic figures or pre-made models.
Can someone point me to a web site?
DS want to go to Michaels & get styrofoam balls, but I can't think of any endangered animals that are mostly ball shaped.
Help !!
