Oh no, I was considering flying them home after TOAL. Hadn't booked anything yet.

Seems as if they may continue operations....for now...ugh...could you imagine being on TOAL...only to arrive at MCO on the 1st and find out they went belly up? I guess I'm going to have to examine the financial situation of an airline AND their baggage restrictiosns before booking.

I confess (and am almost embarassed to do so) that this time I'm letting DCL handle the air arrangements. I know it's going to cost (though not as bad as you might think) but it's worth it to let somebody else stress over it. Does anyone have any experience with DCL as for air - in particular, handling any problems that occur?

At Coral's house waiting for another flight. I bake a mean batch of chocolate chip cookies and Bill does a great job of driving to restaurants. :rotfl2:
I bet everything will be just fine!

Chocolate Chip huh? Kevin's favorite. ;)

I don't have experience with DCL air. But wanted to give you a word of warning. DCL usually uses Delta which means you will be limited to 1 checked bag. I don't think that booking through DCL will exempt you from that limitation. You may have to pay for each extra bag at the airport.

When I saw the picture of the "Discipline" with the 2 boys in the cage, it reminded me of a picture that I had of the girls when they were little.
Megan decided to paint Miranda to look like a tiger and since she did not have any clothes on (like normal when she was little), Megan just painted away. After they were finished they decided to put the "tiger" in a cage so Miranda got squeezed in the cat carrier.:lmao: I have this hysterical picture of Miranda painted looking through the bars of the cat cage. It so so funny!
While I was looking for the picture I ran across a ton of pictures from WDW in early Dec. 2002. The girls were 3 and 6 and precious. We had been going for a few years before that but this time they were little girls and not babies. Just on word- precious!
This leads me to check airfare for Thanksgiving week. I had previously checked and been shut right down due to price.:scared1: Well... it has dropped and we will have annual passes. We'll see if this passes or not.
A week in WDW in June, 2 week Disney cruise and a week at Thanksgiving. I can see my MiL's face now....might be worth booking just to see the horror! I think my tag fits.:rotfl:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Nice J.R. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Here comes that nice lady from child services again.

I didn't know that is is what Malley was named after! My sister's dog who died about 6 or 7 years ago was named Malley after Malley's Chocolates :) They lived in Akron when they first got him.

Yup. The Malley's in our home town is on Lorain Road. My dog's name is Malley Lorain.

Our previous dog was named Cuyahoga - we called her Cuya (pronounced 'K-eye-a', for those of you not from Cleveland!)

Similar to what my dad said when Brendan asked for his blessing...just be good to her....and you think you are ready for her?

Chrissie

My Dad said something along the lines of, "Are you sure you want to do this? She's expensive."
:)

My speciality. Did I mention the car service to the airport includes cookies! :lmao:

Awesome! When are you picking me up?

Hey Roger !

Hoz it goin'?! Tomorrow is colonial day at the Reagan Library. We've not gone before - but will wander by around noon or so. It runs from 10AM til 4PM. And tomorrow is the sign up day for AYSO region 4.... serving Agoura/Westlake and parts of TO. So we're doing that in the AM and reagan in the late morning or at noon time. With any luck they'll be giving out good freebies as well as providing an excuse to raise the awareness level of our kids for their countries' heritage.

OK... because todays' gymnastics class was cancelled - we've just decided to make a run for Disneyland today/tonight. I gotta scramble now to pack stuff - get Julianna from school - and driving into the valley to meet up with Alicia. She ran an early early morning so is off setting that with heading to DL a couple hours before the normal end of the work day. <wink>

And please - I'm not boasting about doing DL - since on my birthday visit to DL last week it was painfully busy and we did no major rides on account of the crush of visitors. So tonite is an attempt to make up for last weekend. Plus I'm in the mood to get some authentic Chinese food from in town.

OK... gotta go now. Good cheer to all - sorry to miss chat tonite!

If anyone wants maps of Disneyland - I'll pick up a bunch with schedule for TODAY - so you can preplan a little. Just PM me (or Thomas_gin1@hotmail.com) an address and I'll mail it out saturday!

Sorry Tom I have to work this weekend :sad2: and my daughter is in a big production at her MS this weekend. Have fun and take pictures.

Had to take Muttley to the vet today...he's been sneezing.
Seems he has a sinus infection. Running a little fever, vet gave me an antibiotic,a decongestant for his stuffy nose, some "Thunder Pills"(he's afraid of storms) and trimmed his nails.....that'll be $91.50 please.

REMINDS me of a story...my cousin and I (both blonde) put our hair in low pig tails and used chalk to color our faces blue....we used old white curtains for a dress..and voila! we were SMURFETTES!(Our moms were not happy!)

Hope he feels better!
I hear your pain! Last week we took Peanuts to the vet for routine blood work...he had to be "gassed" so they could check him and clip his nails (if the don't he swears like a sailor!) also had to get more meds to help with his kidney problem..over $200!:scared1: I do love my cat!

I only wish that could have been the case for Skybus as well. They did just as ATA, and left so many people stranded.

But that wasn't Skybus' fault . . . it was the fault of Gary, Indiana. :)

It seems that any airline that attempts to begin service at Gary airport receives the kiss of death: Pan Am, Hooters, Skybus. <sigh>

Hey everyone! It's finally the weekend. What a week at work. I got a co-workers assignment dumped on me and I'm not a happy camper. I don't mind helping anyone out, but when I walk by your desk and you are surfing the net instead of getting your work done, it really makes me mad.

It took me all of 15 minutes to review apps and schedule a written examination. :sad2:

OK, vent over I feel better.

We are getting rain right now, and maybe s*** :scared1: over the weekend.
10 more working days and we will be in WDW! I need a hug from Mickey!

On our first cruise DCL took care of our air - the day of our cruise, it really made for a long day and we did fly delta but it was uneventful (which was a good thing). The 2nd cruise we took with DCL we chose to let DCL handle the air as well only this time we flew in the night before. I cannot complain about any of the flights that DCL gave us, they were just what we expected. I think they usually fly with Delta (we all know how I feel about Delta at this time) if they can.

Happy Birthday Sharon!!!

Too funny! I am right off Centre st! And sorry to break the news but that Brighams has been gone for a while...replaced by another store..then another and last summer that block was involved in a VERY bad fire! the closest Brighams now (I believe) is in the Natick Collection!

Chrissie

Chrissie, it really is a small world. My Nana lives on Newfield St. I have no idea where the Natick Collection is:confused3. Guess I'll end up settling for whatever icecream Nana happens to have in the freezer.
:)

Doesn't Brigham's have the worlds' BEST hot fudge!
:cloud9:

It has been almost 10 years since it has crossed these lips. I can remember we always brought several containers back to KY when we went to Boston. I remember their caramel being pretty tasty too:goodvibes

Sorry to hear about all the children & work woes! Hang in there guys!!! :grouphug:

The flu hit our house this week & so far DS has it. He missed school the last couple of days, but his fever broke & other than being really congested, he appears to be feeling better.

We ordered the Wii for his birthday & it just arrived today so he & DD are having a ball playing.

DD is upset that one of her good "friends" is having a birthday party tonight, but she wasn't invited. Breaks my heart! :sad1:

Plus she got her report card today & it is the first time in three years she hasn't made the principal's list. She got a B+ in advanced math & it dropped her out of the running. We are trying to let her know we are still proud of her, but yet it is hard not to let our disappointment show. :guilty:

All in all if this is all we have to complain about then things are pretty good, but DD is not too happy today!
