Picked this tidbit up today, guess Mr. Innocent will need to come up with a new method of payment

Several sites are reporting today that Nestle may no longer continue
to be a sponsor in the parks. This poses both a reason for joy and
one for concern. Nestle, provides all of the coffee in the parks and
it is truly awful. Although there are a few places that you can
purchase an actual brewed cup of coffee but those are tough to find
without prior research and planning. I would be thrilled to have real
coffee in the parks and resorts. However, the downside of all of this
is that Nestle is the manufacturer of Mickey Bars. For the love of
Mickey, a trip to any Disney Park is not complete with out the ice
creamy goodness of a Mickey bar.
As you can see this poses a bit of a
dilemma. Rumors are further speculating the Coca Cola will be
Nestle's replacement. We will have to see how all of this shakes out.

Cool podcast site, someone should get DIS to get theirs listed

Of course on point..... one of the podcasts has this logo:

Read this last month in Al Lutz's article. Don't know if Coca Cola makes ice cream :confused3 . The big thing for us is that Carnation is owned by Nestle and they are talking about renaming a couple of the restaurants that are named Carnation at DL. Also McDonald's looks like it will be ending its relationship with Disney as well. I know CA has a modified McD's and a couple of FF stands in DL but not sure if there is any at WDW.

Sooo... ya saw that, eh?..... < smug silent grinnin' >

...[ed]...

Kind sir (a.k.a. Mr. Innocent), the aforereferenced Demon Pork, a.k.a. Satan Bacon a.k.a. Devilled Pork has not e-mailed you in some time. Please cease and desist all such rumor mongering :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Kind sir... I quote and rip 'em as I see 'em... but out of consideration (and fear) of your unrevealed "Demonic Porker" powers Counselor, ... I shall desist and meekly retract all suggestions of suspicion - and... encourage all those so inclined to embrace blissful ignorance of the obvious with me. < wink >

And with that in mind - kind sir - may I alert you to the fact I've had a healthy portion of curry this morning.... so please consider letting me off lightly in this matter. I am woefully JUDGEMENT PROOF ... and immune from defamation since I have NO reputation to defend - other then that of my thinly claimed INNOCENCE.

The resaurant in Animal Kingdom where Donal'd Breakfastosaurus used to be (I think it's called Resaurantosaurus), is basically a limited menu item McD's for lunch and dinner. There are also some FF carts around property. Plus large McD's at Downtown Disney and near the All-Stars.

I have a feeling that this thread (and the many that follow) will be like the Energizer Bunny...

...it just keeps going and going and going and going....

PS Sounds like your first surgery went well. How are you feeling?
Best wishes for an easy 2nd surgery and a speedy recovery!

Plus, it will lead up to the booking day for the "reunion" cruise on the new ships!

Like Mike said, I think it will go on forever. Never know we may have to start planning Part II, I mean the new ships are only a couple of years away.

Awww Geee.... It does not have to end once we're embarked. Granted most of the posting will probably be suspended while we're all attempting to "take the ship" ... but on our return I suspect a few of us will lurk and post a few things every now and then. IE, the posting may drop below a steady 10 pages a day I kno... but that as it may be - is a tolerable embarassment.

And may I add - it is inevitable that many of us will become entangled in NEW meet threads - so the gentle fading of many is likely unavoidable. I for one have hardly posted at all to the next sailing we're planning with DCL. This thread has too much of my interest "invested" - so I ... as Andrew knows ... spend a lot of my fading free time here.

Speaking of fading... the time has come for me to attempt a 2nd departure. And just as an "aside" remark ... I think I got ONE last posting left in me today since my daughter is not quite ready to run yet.:surfweb:

What coffee does Coca-Cola sell?

Yes there is a FF cart in Frontierland of MK & it's also been loads of fun to try & save the fries from the killer diving birds & their subsequent deadly toxic droppings! :scared:

The resaurant in Animal Kingdom where Donal'd Breakfastosaurus used to be (I think it's called Resaurantosaurus), is basically a limited menu item McD's for lunch and dinner. There are also some FF carts around property. Plus large McD's at Downtown Disney and near the All-Stars.

Yes & a limited menu McD's kiosk in Canada at Epcot. :sad1:

:lmao: OK, Who else is thinking they are a tiny bit dreading the cruise as this daily does of anecdotes and revelry will be over. :guilty:

That & the fact that I haven't lost a freakin' ounce! I must be good. I must be good. I must be good. :rolleyes1

Like Mike said, I think it will go on forever. Never know we may have to start planning Part II, I mean the new ships are only a couple of years away.

I'd be game for that. Only it is sort far off. I know for sure near EVERYONE on this sailing will take a few voyages on the new ships. So if we're gonna do it - why not do it as a well orchestrated crew shift? OK.. maybe that is asking for more complication that any one or two of us might juggle - but just think of the group discount we'd wield? I think we should form a GROUP to harness a GROUP discount. I know my collection of 30 or so souls should have gotten a group sailing discount - but didn't. DRAT!

OK... I gotta go get things together to go. We're gonna try for the evening WICKED lottery - so I'm packing a change of clothes - and my daughter wants me to don a tux for the show.... if we get it. And she's expectin' to walk the beach a bit today too - and go shopping while I'd rather wander a learning museum with her in substitution. Soon we'll see how it evolves... but I gotta get going if we're to do more than 2 or 3 things today.

And with that I bid one and all a fond but brief farewell. I'm not afraid of confessing we've tried this D*** Wicked Lottery 4 or more times and not won a discounted admittance ONCE! So today is sold out and sure to be hotly contested... so my hopes are not too high - except for the fact I consider us to be long overdue to "hit it".

And for the 3rd time ... I gotta go....
