Or not- I ordered a very large Santa Mickey and he came to me broken off from the base. I got some $ knocked off and he is fine but one that is supopsed to come off the base has more options.

has anyone done this...transfer to dcl and then to dreams? we have 2 rooms...so that would be a $400 stateroom credit...pretty good amount of $ in my book! LOL! is it worth the aggravation though? would everything transfer smoothly? we already have a room assignment...would it mess anything up? ugh! i wish my ta would have offered some kind of credit...but we got none...nothing! not even $50!

How about asking your current TA about it.
Let them know that you saw the OBC offer elsewhere and if they could match it.

In order for your TA to release the reservation they have to actually send a letter to DCL. Also if you are paid in full you cannot transfer it.

I would double check with whatever agency you are looking to transfer it to and ask point blank what the OBC will be so you have it in writing. You don't want any surprises later on. Some travel agents will not take over a booking from another agent out of professional courtesy

We planned on paying off the cruise next week with our income tax refund, which should be direct deposited then. (Of course, let's hope the IRS doesn't screw that up!) So we put it on a credit card that we'll just pay off.

So I guess we're doing the PIF dance too!

I asked DH earlier today if he wanted to pay off cruise & he said no. He was at work & couldn't talk. So he gets home & I ask, "Can I just ask your reasoning of wanting to wait when we can save $60?" So he then says, go ahead & pay it. Well if I paid my credit card earlier today it would've posted today, but now it won't post till tomorrow. Do you think it's still safe to go ahead & pay in full even though my credit card won't actually cover it till tomorrow?
