I'm using my spouses' notebook at the hotel - she paid for internet access at the Marriott so it's her machine I have ta use - and I forgot my password on the Captaincrash ID ... as it is stored to automaticly log me on when I use my machine... hence my new temporary ID here.

At any rate - I'm dropping in ta catch up a little. We're camped at the hotel while my spouse finishes working her morning and lunch. Then it's off for Yosemite 140 miles away.

Well, when you click on it 12:24pm flight isn't even really avaiilable. The next and only other option is 12:53........ so pushing it only by 7minutes right? cause other than that- all other flights are starting later in the afternoon/early evening with connecting flight and we'd get to DFW LATE evening and home near midnight at the earliest (probably closer to 1-2am like last time)

so... 12:53am isn't pushing it is it?
I looked on 9/2 and there are plenty of earlier flights still available. I'm assuming 9/1 is selling out faster because of people returning home from plans over the labor day weekend?

Based on my 2006 experience, you should be fine.

Short of a hurricane, they should be in on time or close to it.

If its a hurricane, they will reroute us somewhere else or we will all be late.

I will be traveling a lot more at the new job.. i will be in Philly week of April 14. Good things the boys are older and able to fend for themselves.

I just got my mail.. DCL sent a packet indicating my cruise travel kit.. Did anyone else received it????????????? it is just info we already know... I thought maybe it will indicated what everynight will be..

I just got it TOO... YEAH .. it is a nice package about the boat, cruise and clubs..

We prefer to book with lots of time to make the jet. SO we're looking at an afternoon or evening flight.

Good.. I was sitting here drinking water from a plastic bottle and thought HMM wonder if that is true.. after all.. how can you get the case of water home from the store without it being in the car??

You should be just ok, thoose are DCL recommended times, I have been at MCO at 8.45am, but the repo cruises take longer to disembark.

Find me at the bar for payment then!!! I'm going for the Epi-Lasik, i.e. no cutting of my eye. Theoretically if I moved to a preventive role within Customs & had the one where they cut my eye I wouldn't be allowed to do the job, so I guess it's a bit more pain & a stock up on strong painkillers in advance

The "non-cutting" technique sounds a bit more like the technique my spouse used. I can't pretend to know anything more than what's already been mentioned... except you're likely tobe very happy and amazed. Alicia was really pleased - even though I told her afterwards that I liked how she looked kind of sexy in those buggy eyed glasses she used to wear... <wink>

I think 12:24 is fine, just as long as you hustle getting off ship, etc.

MCO stinks for getting in through security (although most others are bad today) but if you go by the 2 hour rule, that's 10:24, its about an hour from port - 9:24.... should be no problem unless we are late.

Now if you happen to have piercings in unmentionable places.....give extra time

It sounds like you're not booking SWA so you might be ok..... SWA needs a two hour window for your luggage...And they mean it.... More than once we got to the airport and hour or hour.5 before and our luggage never made it back to BWI until the next day.... (it wasn't just us either...It was most of our plane there at baggage claim) The next trip i gave a two hour window and i was the only one waiting at the carousel who got luggage. Everyone else was SOL)
