I don't know if I have ever been to Portage. Spent some time in K-zoo though. And gone on these long drives to know where with my sister so it is possible that I have been there and didn't know it.

I don't think we know for sure -- they have promised that we will be able to read old threads (although we don't have the old one back yet) but it's not clear if the retired thread will "live" here or somewhere else . . .

I'm glad you are finding it easier to keep caught up.

I live in Boise, Idaho. You would think that we would have more snow here than we do, and we get it, but it has never really been enough to close school. Usually when it does snow, it snows and then melts, snows and melts. I do not think we have had this much snow for many years.
The ski resorts and skiers sure have been happy!

My mom is originally from Boise and when she was in school they used to close for potato picking days.

The past couple of days, Hazel and I have been busy setting Angelina's high school graduation party up. I never knew how much planning such a party takes. We got the hall reserved, the party announcements ordered and have started checking into food and decorations. I'm glad we still have 5 months to get ready for the party.

Angelina is driving us nutso trying to select the "perfect dress" for the Senior Prom as well............
