On our Mediterranean cruise we did Martini and Rum tastings! That was the first time I saw a rum tasting. Most of the tastings were between $12-15 per person. On the 11 night Southern cruise in 2006, we did a mixology seminar too. I got to make a couple shots at that one!

Thanks- I will keep an eye out for that. They said they would email me if the times were changed.

I had to go to the office this morning. I went outside and it was 70 degrees at 6:00 am!!! That is soooo wrong.

Shouldn't that be crawling distance? :lmao:

Enjoy the warm wheather while you can!!!

Crawling distance is good!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

And I seem to recall the beer tasting was $12 when my dh did it.

Yes... you were right!! Beer was cheaper than Tequila tasting but I hate beer.:flower3:

I plan on doing a lot of tasting on Rum.:woohoo: Rum is my first choice of beveage.:cool1: Rum and anything else!!!

As for starting a rumor, how about when you slipped me a piece of paper with an Italian man's name and phone number right at the table with them????:lmao: That was a hard one to explain in a few sentences!

Yes, I saw Sallie's stiletto's peeking out from under the table -- and you and Susan pretending not to notice -- and Jimmy laughing . . .:rotfl2:
Ah but that wasnt MY phone number!
Of course.

I know when not to mess with the cousin of a Time Lord.

< "wink >

As Jon-Luc would say ''ENGAGE'', ps I am a long lost brother of the Doctor! often very lost.

That looks like a great book:woohoo: I hope they give it out again.
Yes i hope they do repeat giving that book out, its very good.
Hey Andrew, that's what cabin stewards are for....
Well my kids mess thats above and beyond the call of duty.

I think this picture was taken just after 1.30pm, see the background.

That was great Julie!! :woohoo: So is Cabo Wabo with in walking distance from the dock???:confused3

Of course it depends on your tolerance for walking (I walk a LOT) but it looks like walking distance to me . . .

LG this reminded me of something......We have been playing Guitar Hero III and my DD was determined to get through "Slow Ride" before she would move on to another song. We must have heard that song 50 times, all ending with her getting boo'd off of the stage (on the game, that is). Well, she FINALLY made it through the song, and got the 'YOU ROCK!' message. She was so excited, too. Now she is onto "Hit me with your best shot". That game is so fun & addictive!
We have that game too. I tried it. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I couldn't do it. Mark is really go at it. Bobby has the Rock Band and he and his friend play that. It is pretty addicting to get past each song. More power to your DD:banana: :worship:

I thought so too! Especially for the ones that are a little chicken (like me):)
Paula, I told you there will be plenty of people there that will be willing to just push us chickens off the platform. I am pretty sure Elizabeth will be the first in line. :rotfl:

Ah.....who needs shade:goodvibes
I totally agree. Bring on the Sun!!!! That's what spf is for.

:lmao:

Wait a minute, I am trying to work up some sympathy for you..........NOPE can't do it.:rotfl2: JK. It is usually pretty darn cold here about now. Looking forward to the coming snow storm. I can send you some if you think it will help cool you down. :rotfl2:

Cabo Wabo is up there where most of the better shopping is....in other words, there are a few booths right at the pier area but that's all.
It isn't a bad walk to go UP there, but it is a much longer walk back....or it seems to be, anyway. We took a taxi back as we were running out of time and worried about missing the tender.
In other words, it's further than it looks.

Also, to get to Medano Beach, you have to use a "water taxi"....which was literally a rowboat with a small motor. Getting down into it from the dock was a real trip. (yes, I tripped:guilty: )

Note to self: check to see if Stacy is in water taxi in Cabo before entering . . . if so, have camera at the ready :rotfl:

Ah but that wasnt MY phone number!

Then you still should have sent over the champagne and said it was from Fabrizio (you're not getting out of this easily, Andrew . . . )

God , and I think everyone else, posts too much,,,sorry!

But at least I am not the biggest chatter box, or can I say ''Flirt'.:thumbsup2
(Nutawuss)

Well, I will gladly take the title of biggest flirt (Signed, Not-a-wuss) . . .

BUT, as for chatterbox status, one need only look at my number of postings compared to yours to settle that issue . . .

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

All you want me for is my champagne nothing else, I fix you up with an Italian stallion (his description) give you his number, and all you want is my booze! I am not going to lie and say the booze was from him, why should he take the credit?

It all boils down to Sally and Jimmy getting in there first and being my table mates!

Ah, but I have been here a very long time, and also have my commitments to UK Dis as well, just compare my post count to Crash or Verandah man and you will see they have a far higher average post rate than me.

Of course it depends on your tolerance for walking (I walk a LOT) but it looks like walking distance to me . . .

I walk usually 3 to 5 miles a day. :goodvibes Now I have a good reason to keep up the walking!!:rotfl:

pirate:

I will take that as a compliment....coming from you!!

Remember the old saying..."It takes one to know one!":lmao: :lmao:

You know Fabrizio just was not that cute, Andrew :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

Well, if it takes being table mates to get some champagne, I guess I'll just buy my own!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

(Although, honestly, IMO Sallie and Jimmy should have been buying YOU drinks!)

Hmmm, very defensive . . . just think twice before calling ME the chatterbox again!:lmao:

Who had the highest post count on the July 28 Med thread??????? I do believe it was you (with Joann failing to catch despite heroic efforts) and I'm not sure I was even in the top 5 . . .:thumbsup2

There is a thread asking if its safe to walk around deck 10 at night, this is one of the responses:-

http://disboards.com/showpost.php?p=22848689&postcount=9

Proportional response??

Wow, that's amazing -- but I don't think the OP was talking about rogue waves . . . I've never felt unsafe anywhere on the ship at night. As for rogue waves, I probably have a much better chance of being hit by a city bus tomorrow, so I'm not going to worry about that!:rotfl:

Looks like a normal child's room to me!!!:rotfl:

I will take that as a compliment....coming from you!!

Remember the old saying..."It takes one to know one!":lmao: :lmao:
Stephen will like being called a normal child!

I know you are really trying to haggle out a glass for this forthcoming cruise, we will just have to see! But we had fun with Sallie and Jimmy, he is a perfect gent, a real real nice guy, I can remember him cracking up in the car, when Stephen was making some, pretend, restroom noises, he couldn't stop laughing, and he got everyone going,

Now Sallie, well Sallie, what could I say, I thought she was a bit shy and introverted. But you can tell them they can buy me a drink or two if you think they owe me!
