I was so bundled up that i resembled Ralphie's little brother from "A Christmas Story."

"I can't put my arms down!!!!!!!"

Love that movie! We watch it pretty much 24 hrs straight on Christmas Eve/Day.

APRIL:eek:
There is no way, I can wait til April - I'm getting antsy now with not having the flights booked. None of this last minute - pay thru the nose - like last year - (but that was

we don't have flights booked either.. DH is waiting until SW opens up.. His theory is that we will see prices decrease then.. I tyhink that maybe true or maybe not.. but we are waiting just the same..

Laura I used to enjoy taking football pictures when Adam played. I would print them and whatever didn't make it into the scrapbook I gave away. :)

Your camera sounds fun--too complicated for me though

Hey Paula - I love taking the shots and with my new momma of a lens - I was able to see a major difference. I :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc the stop action. I was even asked by Brother Michael to give him copies of the girls games. Seems he likes to post shots in his rooms which makes him the most popular religious figureperson on campus. He goes to EVERY SINGLE SPORTS GAME that school has. That man must get a life! :rotfl2:

Ours had lots of good bargains - saved my DH TONS of money - :thumbsup2

NOTE to SELF: Must introduce myself to Msaseifert, I already know Cheryl and oh yeah - must go to JC Penny (bring mom along too)

I hear ya. What a GREAT idea! I have 2 different types of memory cards so that is not even a hindrance. :thumbsup2

I do not have a sophisticated bone in my body so the frutty, foofier the better! I may try the tastings just to see if I all of the sudden developed refinement (but pretty doubtful).

Hi M&M's Mom - DH and I did the tequila tasting seminar on the Magic - while DH did not ever drink tequila before - he shocked the heck out of me by going into Rocking Bar D and ordering a strawberry daiquiri with Patron - he said none of that yucky stuff for me. So they are definitely entertaining and informational. I seem to recall a good time and we were by ourselves too. Add friends to that mix and you've got an instant party!

Hi Msaseifert - Let me introduce myself - I am another Laura - a semi-decent tequila drinker although I prefer mine straight up in shot glasses - although for some reason - I don't recall ever taking more than 5 shots in one night - oh well, there might be a reason to that. :rotfl:

Hope to see you on board!

Look forward to meeting you. I am definitely in for the tequila tasting, maybe we can work on that 6th shot (not too sure if we would remember it though - :scared1:

'Ello Smee from Canada - Cheryl and I and the new super legion of Bargain hunters can help in that department! :rotfl2:

You can, thanks so much. This booking flights online scares me, but I like to be in control and know all my options for flight times. Instead of some travel agent (apologizing to TA's in advance) telling me this is my only option.

We could always get Crash to photograph for proof. :rotfl2:

As long as you are calling someone else that, and not me, I won't tell on you, Andrew!:rotfl2: Signed, Not-a-wuss
Would there be multiple days of wine/beer tastings since it is such a long cruise?

:thumbsup2

PS I have my wine tastings at my dinner table each night, a bottle is better than a glass, Hic.

Yes, having had the same dinner rotation as you last year, I saw your nightly bottle tastings!!!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: None of that fussy "swirl, then sniff, then taste and write down what you think" for you -- just tilt your head back and pour it in!!!!! (Just kidding -- mostly, anyway . . .):goodvibes

So much for a slower easier to keep up with cruise thread. I'm determined to try to keep up. Where do we sign up for the room tour? Are children allowed on the zip line excursion being considered?

I think our dinner partner's Jimmy and Sally enjoyed the Champers!-so did the kids but dont tell on me!

Wow! So we are under 200 days since we leave for California on August 9! That makes it seem much closer than counting by the number of months. The count down calendar sounds like something my girls would love.

Boty my girls spent the week-end creaeting countdown to LA calendars - for us 196 days!

I'm very excited. Our passports (mug shots) came today. It only took about 2 weeks. Just waiting for Southwest to open bookings for the return flight home.

Ed- Yes, if you book directly (Los Veranos) I think they take as low as 6 years old. I have an 8 yo DD and Roger's 7 yo old might give it a shot.
DCL has a 10 yo age limit.

Not sure about the room tour as a cat 10 is probably not going to the "one to be seen". :)
I would be more than too glad to check out any elses cabin.

I will be too embarrassed to open the door to our Cat 4, it will be in a total mess from 1.31pm August 17th to 21:59 on August 31st
