I managed to stay up until 01:15 to watch the first half of your Superbowl and the first three songs of Tom Petty. The need to sleep took over me in the end.

Still don't understand the rules though, or even the concept of a 15 minute quarter that seems to last for ages.:confused3 :confused3

David

Can't blame you for falling asleep during Tom Petty!:lmao:

If you really care about the American football rules (and I suspect you may not!) this article on Wikipedia is pretty clear:

OMG!! It is 84 degrees here on Feb. 4th! This in insane, even for Dallas. I am not sure if I enjoy a little break from the cool winter (not cold) or if it just makes me afraid for what is coming in the summer.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

2005 Panama crossing, For those of you who haven't seen, or would like a refresh as we are getting closer:-

if you wish to look at some photos from 2005, click this link:-

http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1356162&page=2

It will go to page 2 with pictures and information DCL handed out, on that cruise. Depending on your Internet connection it may take a little while to complete.

If you want 2005 Eastbound Navigators and port guides for Cabo and Acapulco, please select page one, these are also repeated in the Navigators section on the Dis.

I asked him about the new artwork and he says the black shirts look really good. I can't wait to see them.

He said that if anyone wants red - we'd have to do that same modification to the artwork. Nope, (said I), anyone who wants red can live with a black or white outline.

He's going to get me all the different sizes he has available. The adult sizes are a no brainer - it's the kids sizes that I need the information on. He said he'd email that to me next week.

Once I have that - and pictures of the new samples, I can finish up the pre-order site to get a count on the number of shirts.

Though, I probably won't open the doors for the preorder count until - Oh, April. If we get it too early - it won't be as accurate a count.

So, things are moving along nicely.

Do you think you will be able to ship to the UK?

Yeah, Todd (DisneyVegas1), but then again he lives there. :rotfl: I do like the Cirque du Soliel shows. There's about 5 of them now, and sometimes you can get same day half price tickets at Tickets2Nite next to M&M World on the strip. http://www.tickets2nite.com/

Another vote for the Cirque shows.

Thanks Tom!

Cruise Question:
Does anyone know exactly where we are pulling in to port in Cartagena?

I've just checked my Anne Vipond - Panama Canal by Cruise Ship book and found this: "After entering Cartagena Bay most ships dock at the cruise ship pier in residential Manga". Hope this helps.

Andrew, it is fun to see your kids, They have grown so much since 05.

I also had to be sure, but we did have 2 formal and 2 semi formal nights--I thought that was what we did.

Andrew...did you worry about Mosquistos on the last trip. If so, how id you deal with them?

Heather, I don't remember mosq. being a problem:)

That's a new one on me. Couldn't even find it in my bartending bible. Did find a Naughty Angle though....3oz white chocolate liquer and 1oz 151 Bacardi.

So what's in a Naughty School Girl?

:rotfl: I'll post the recipe later. I have got to hear some of these responses. Course, I had to tweak it a bit - maybe it was teh tweaking but it was hummy! So in a sense the Naughty School girl wasn't as naughty as she claimed. (Drink people - this is a drink we're talking about)

Our team was chosen as the token cute kid team that they always invite for this type of thing.

...now I have to break it to DS9 that he doesn't get to go :sad1:

SoCal pirates, watch your local news Wed. - you might see us.

Way cool :cool1: M. I wi ll record the news that night to see if I can get a clip. Could you yell something like "Take what you can" to the president. :rotfl2:

Well if you can't do that - can you wear a lime green headband or something? :lmao:

Yes, its like and industrial type of port, you can see the monastery on the hill form one side.

No problem at all, apart form Curacao, were we went to a 'bat cave' and we were bitten alive, I would take some Mossie repellent to be on the same side, we should be ok in Panama.

Yes they have grown a lot, I repeated this as we are now getting closer, the May repo will book soon!

It wasn't, I agree see above. Now beach at Cartagena, I think I was bitten there!!!!!!

I just actually read Monica's post from before -- what is a Naughty Angle? 90 degrees? 120? 180????????????????:rotfl2:

Angel, I know, Monica . . .

Laura -- I keep thinking about this -- with Pam not on this cruise are you still organizing the Secret Mickey exchange on the cruise? I was thinking that it would be fun to know who we had well in advance so we can pay special attention to what they mention liking, etc. . . Maybe we can have a rolling signup so that many of us go ahead and sign up now and find out who we have and we keep inviting more to sign up as we get closer to the cruise? What do you think?

1. My theory is a Naughty Angle is one that doesn't play well with others and just has to be different - like 173 degrees! ;) or 154! OK well that sounded better in my head. No wait - that's us!

Julie - that is a good question. I am still supposed to be handling the SM. What do others think? Should we be open it up? I was having a problem because I wanted to participate but then I would know who had me. So shall we have an informal poll? EVERYONE WEIGH IN - open up SM and have the person responsible for his own clues?

Anyone want to help me? Let me know either PM or on here. PM would be better as I don't always get on here right away. Or I might pull a disappearing act again. ;)

Thanks Julie - that was clear and concise :confused3

I noticed some of those little yellow flags being thrown onto the pitch last night and I wondered what they were for - now I know (I think).

Some of us in work are hoping to go and see the The New Orleans Saints and the San Diego Chargers when they play in London in October.

give me a break, it was almost midnight :tilt:

I've bought some repellent just in case.

Hi Gang,
Congrats to all NY Giants fans!! The last of the 4th Qtr. was really exciting!! Sorry to all the Pat's fans. Being a lifelong 49er fan I've experienced both some fabulous highs and some VERY low lows!!

Hope everyone is doing well. Have to go pu Matt at school in a bit.

Good idea, others for this cruise:-

Headache tablets, its hot and humid, Panama crossing day on deck, is very hot and you get sunburn, whilst watching, so hats and stuff to cover neckline.

Prescription drugs, if you or kids have any, they make work less when you are hot, so check with Doctor.

Posts here have mentioned issues with camera's and humidity, also batteries, tapes, film, have spares and lots of it, recharge all for trips and panama day.

Your picture will be taken from the locks by shutter's staff, wave a lot ensure they see you, you can put something distinctive on your verandah that day, I did a flag, but not on the rest of the crossing.

Do not throw things off the ship in Panama, the locals will ask for it, but the ship can be fined!

Acapulco, outside the port there are so called guides, a firm 'NO' should stop it, but do not use, they take you to shops they know and get a kick back, so price is higher. You can walk to the fort and Market, but we are in early I think fort opens 9am Market 10am, may open early for us.

Give American football a chance and you might like it, David . . . even if it is American and persists in calling itself "football". . .:lmao:

Sorry, Monica, once I noticed it there was no holding back . . . I agree with Laura that the naughty angles are the odd ones . . .:rotfl:

Thanks, Chris! That was some exciting game. I walked past a bar about 6 blocks from my apartment this morning -- its normal name is "Brady's" and they had a huge sign covering it up saying "Manning's" . . . the ticket tape parade in the canyon of heroes is tomorrow -- same as primary day and Shrove Tuesday . . .
