I had to ask her if we had rented out the park. Don't you wish there were this few people there now? Only in better clothes? :rotfl:

These vintage images are ....

Shannon I could not find it anywhere for download and wound up buying the the sound-track. I could not even find that in any of the local stores and had to order it online. I think it was about $10.

I owuld suggest doing the *family activities*. My kids and I have enjoyed *Family Crafts*, Kite making, animation cells, Claire (my 7yr old) enjoyed the club alot more then she enjoyed hanging out with me! But, it didnt' stop me from trying to get her (and her older brother) to do Family stuff with me! :rotfl:

I bought ours at Target -- but, we have the karaoke cd. That's the song that Elvis uses for auditions.

I'll be interested to hear how your Princess cruise goes, I've just booked a cruise on the Dawn Princess from Sydney to New Caledonia and Vanuatu over Christmas. Mum said "not another cruise!" but the flights alone to pretty much anywhere else were the same cost as the cruise and return flights to Sydney - so cruise it is...

Oooohhh Maybe Disney will go to New Zealand some day... The only place to see Penguins!

Granted the best pic we got was of a stuffed one...

OK this may not be a tarantula, but for me this was almost as bad and is a major step for me. Everyone, meet Maria - she was happy with me and when it came time to go (read my 1 minute and 1 picture was up 7 pictures ago! LOL :) ) she held on for dear life.

IMG_4421.jpg

I remember this part of the day was super hot and the sweat was running down my back - Mr. Emeralds is behind me over my right shoulder. This was on the uppder deck and the "Casino" was at the photographer's back.

OMG! I had pictures that impressed picture-King Crash?

I think I've achieved a new status on the DIS. :rotfl:

And they look awesome in your signature!

I'm still kicking myself for not getting sloth pics.

So Im sitting here on a Saturday night all bored - got about 1 hr to kill before we go and pick up the youngest at her first "solo" bonfire - don't worry - I dropped her off and her BFF's mom is there so she's in good hands. She's as tough as I am. Anyway, here I am with Mrs. Columbia. This was the first stop where she showed up, at the second and third she got a bit redundant. LOL

Wish I could help but I only got her with me. Sorry! :sad2:

She was soft though. And FYI - Steve refused to handle her and jumped about 10 ft back when I went to hand her off to him. :)

I finished the slideshow that I was working on, and posted it over on the photo sharing site.

Repo "Share a Dream" Slideshow

Thanks to all who have posted pictures on the smug mug site! There are pirates that we shared many fun times with, and had few or no pictures of, but now we do! There are still some that we don't have any pictures of, too. So if you haven't thought about uploading your photos, please do so!

We are really enjoying reliving the memories of the TOAL and seeing things that we missed out on. Thanks to Arlene for posting the videos of the Mickey Bar Eating Contest. We weren't able to attend that one (spa maybe?), but it was a lot of fun to watch. Tom, Tina, and Shelley hosted a really fun event! Great job all!

Ok another that made me tear up - thanks for posting!

Its the Med and Baltics in 2010.

http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/cruise-new/news.htm

Transatlantics April ! and September.

Ugh, not sure what I will do if this is the case, did the Med in 2007, not sure I would do it via cruise ship again (well at least with back to back to back to back port days). However the Transatlantic does still sound appealing, guess we will have to wait and see what airline prices are when the time comes.

Ok, seeing as DCL didn't play the darn tune (not even once) during the TOAL, and nobody's put up a slideshow verison on smugmug........yet pirate:

Here it is.......DIS Pirates in the Panama Canal, Van Halen Edition, including a timelapse of the transit.

Crank up the speakers and clickey clickey:

DIS Pirates Transit The Canal with Van Halen's Panama

Andy

PS Shame the song is about a car.

THANKS - that was awesome with the time lapse.

Let's put it this way Kim.........John has over 8 ours of DVD clips which a lot are in RBD at night. ;) :dance3: :dance3:

Oh boy, I guess we are busted.

Regardless, this week will end on a happy note: I'll be slowly circling the World Showcase eating and drinking in just 96 short hours.

Good luck with the job search - but so jealous about the F&W. I love it.

Haven't been around much . . . too much going on in our community because of the flood.

There are over 5,000 people still displaced from their homes. Many are beginning to receive the word that their homes have been condemned and they will not be able to get into them.

We are still waiting on word that the president has accepted the request to be declared a federal disaster area. Some rumors say that an announcement can take place as early as tomorrow. We are all keeping our fingers crossed.

There will be people displaced for months before lives can get back to normal.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your community.

I did find something interesting though that could change my plans to stay in Atlanta.

While we were sailing from Cartagena to Aruba, Florida Hospital in Orlando unveiled its newest plans to change its children's hospital to Disney Children's Hospital! (I always knew that I could end up working for The Mouse someday.) And they do have an open position for a pediatric pharmacist.

Decisions, decisions...

As much as I love WDW, do I really want to live in Orlando? :confused3

Do it - I am working towards moving there in 2010.

I made a quick and easy smilebox slideshow for family & friends...who have been asking me...."where are THOSE 2500 pictures you took on vacation"

http://smilebox.com/playBlog/4e4463784d7a51314e673d3d0d0a

Wow that was fun to watch - some great shots.

Thanks for the prayers.

I was totally bowled over by my parishioners response this weekend. We took up a special second collection at all the Masses to put into a disaster relief fund so that we could help people in the community.

The regular collection was a little over $24,000, which is typical for a third Sunday of the month, so they did not hold anything back for the second collection.

The second collection was just shy of $30,000! We also had 230 parishioners volunteer to help with clean-up, salvage, et cetera.

It is so nice to see faith put into action.

Today is the first day that FEMA is in town for people to go to for aid. We'll see how that goes . . .

That is wonderful news - sounds like you have a great parish.

EVERYONE - I have not abandoned you nor moved one. I am dealing with a bunch of stuff right now - the FIL business may unfortunately be coming to a close soon enough. He has not responded well to the chemo and we are now in the process of attempting to change things over to our names. Consequently, I may be getting ready to take some tests real soon here.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Phew all caught up. At least it is a bit easier to catch up now.

This past week made it offical that I am back to the real world. Work is crazy as ususal, at least I had 3 weeks that were a bit slower to get back into the swing of things.

Hope everyone is doing well. I get 10 days a year for vacation, so let me know when and where the reuion is. (I like to try to grab a holiday in there so I can get a bonus day!)

Hi Shannon,

The song that Roger used is from Brother Bear, but it's called "On My Way". I think we have that soundtrack. I'll send you a PM if I find it.

Shannon I could not find it anywhere for download and wound up buying the the sound-track. I could not even find that in any of the local stores and had to order it online. I think it was about $10.
thanks for letting me know! i should have known that is what it was called...but i guess i'm used to listening to welcome to our family. i love the "on my way" cuz that is the song they used at the graduation onboard. that is strange that it's not available anywhere....very frustrating!!! i'm gonna look for it at a few places tomorrow, but i bet i'll end up buying it online too. thanks so much for helping me out!
and great video roger!!!!

I'm so frustrated, I cannot upload the newest version of Adobe Flash and I cannot see the slide shows that CruzingMike and AndyR made. Can anyone help or have they had this problem before? Any ideas?

:wave2: All - I have uploaded another two days into SmugMug. Monday, sea day and formal night which was August 18th and includes some shots of the Golden Mickeys and the adult show in RBD and some shots of some people practicing ballroom dance. UM......DESIRE....don't let Richard see this ok? I want to still have lunch with you and I need you alive. ;)

The other one is of our Historic Town and Tequila Tour in Puerto Vallerta and Tina, this is before your Billy days. :rotfl2: If anyone else was on this tour, can anyone remember the name of the Church we first visited? I thought it was something like Miguel Church. I can't find my notes and I left this blank on my blog! Go figure. The one entry I go and research and I have zero details. UGH! No one to blame but myself

All right guys, I am beat and finally tired. I have uploaded a couple more days into the smugmug account. You can easily tell which are mine. Also, I have labeled most of my pictures to the best of my memory. If anyone catches anything wrong, please let me know so that I can update my blog also. Thanks. I am up to Acapulco so those will be next. Be forewarned that I took a lot of burst shots so I will have a lot also. Sorry folks.

Anyway, I'm am enjoying my trip down memory lane and looking at everyone's shots. Andy - your scary. Some of your shots are exact duplicates of mine - too scary. :rotfl2: Its that or great minds think alike! :lmao: YUP ::yes:: that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Later folks, got to catch some shut-eye.

Hey Laura, are you (and Lisa) on Mac's by any chance? Lemme go fire up one and see if it can play the vids.

EDIT: My mac plays the vids from the site with the Safari Quicktime plug-in just fine
