Thanks for the reminder. I called Disney Visa (no Arlene) and put the out of country note on my account. They didn't even ask where I was traveling or try to sell me anything. Now what else am I forgetting? I still can't find the 7 day pill boxes. I have one, but want 3 for 3 weeks worth of pills. All I could find was the double ones. They are too bulky. I did copy my prescriptions though and will put them with my pills in my carry on.

Everyone stay healthy for these last few days. I feel like I am bringing a pharmacy with me and I know I will come down with something I don't have drugs for. I have to be careful what I take because of medical issues.

Gee, I am not getting much work done today am I? Oh well I still have 3 days to do it all. DH is so worried his boss will mess up his jobs while he is gone. Now my boss sits in another state and knows almost nothing about what I do. So it is up to my staff to hold it all together.

As your pharmacist about the pill holder. DH got one from them that will hold a few weeks worth in self sealing daily doses. It looks like this. Then you can throw it out as you use up all that is in there

I have an H. I am named after St. Theresa Martin. I have even had people try to pronounce the H. My principal in HS did when he announced me for graduation. I told him twice at rehearsal the H was silent, but there in front of the entire class he called me THeresa. I guess it may have been a good thing the principal didn't know me on a first name basis.

I only use the Theresa when it is official business - insurance, DL, doctor, etc. So when someone calls on the phone and asks for Theresa I usually know it is a telemarketer or my doctor's office.

I always get a spanish pronunciation Teresa with a roll of the 'r'

Nope, I started listing the countries and I think I may have said it was a cruise. She asked if it was the DIsney Panama Canal cruise and when I said "yes!" she said it was funny because her co-worker sitting next to her was on that same cruise. THEN I asked if the co-worker was Arlene

Funny thing is sometimes the orig auth shows aday or two before the posting date.

Yeah I know my Visa says "sale date" and "Post Date" but this only shows the "Sale Date"... They've refunded the money, but we're still concerned that it was a dummy small charge with someone testing the card... I did get the phone number and called the company. It's a BLM thing with an online store with maps, etc. She said that sounded like a shipping charge for free maps. She is supposed to look up the actual charge and call me back. It worries us more that we're going out of the coutry with no phone or internet for 2 weeks to check on it

What's even more annoying is that DH is the primary and even though he has spoken to them to give me full permissions, I couldn't contest the charge, they had to talk with him or he had to be on the phone for the entire process. Though when we went to Japan a couple years ago and forgot to notify them and we had a number of voicemails, it was fine for me to call and tell them that we had been out of the country That seems worse than me contesting a $3.50 charge!!

I have to attend an AYSO referee clinic on friday evening from 6-9:30PM and again on saturday morning from 8 AM to 11AM... that is .... after I pickup my BIL and FIL from LAX at 5AM saturday morning. SO GEE..... when AM I going to pack? Maybe sunday morning?

For anyone who hasn't seen it - in the Announcements section of the PZ board, Tom posted my DH's complilation of worst-case scenario info to take with you and leave behind with a family member/friend. Things like embassy locations and phone numbers, travel advisories, etc.

UPS has decided not to let us ship the sunblock -- even though we had all the correct paperwork for shipping aresol canisters.

Dh is having his shipping dept check with their UPS rep because it is also a strike against dh's company -- for trying to ship hazardous material. I told Jon I would have left the sunblock off the list if I had known it would be such a problem.
So, now I have to pack 24lbs of stuff..... Great!

We ae grandfathered in and can have 2 bags each BUT, I really didn't want to have that much luggage!!!

That stinks I mailed my box last Wed. from SC and it made it to the HOTEL. Now I will be bringing a bungee cord and wrap it around my carry on and have DH wheel it all around till we get to room. We already have our limit on bags so I don't think I can check it. It would take forever to do a packing list. It's all FE stuff.

By the way..got an email from DCL Weddings..I have been blessed with something truely "hassle Free"..issue all worked out....only took 2 hours...a couple of emails..phone calls and a shoulder to cry on!

Glad it worked out. I just found out today I need to re-book for next May while on board. I know someone who's getting married.

More good news... the last item i need for the FE arrived (my FE has 6 parts and requires assembly - which I will do while flying tomorrow). Its a 'creative' gift (though not as creative as the Roaming Gnome)... I hope you guys like it!

A couple of quick prayer/good thoughts requests.....

1) That our SIL's mother makes a full recovery. She has lung cancer that they think they caught early. She's already had the surgery.

2) that the couple that are trying to buy one of our *extra* houses can quailify for the loan. We are giving them a tremendous deal (dh knows them) and he was going to be doing the *fix* up work for us to get it ready for sale anyway...Dh told him that he would sell it to him for $40,000 off the going rate for the neighborhood if we didn't have to do any of the clean up, fix up, etc.... Most of the fix up is cosmetic (all of it is upstairs -- the bathrooms up there needed to be updated) since we had the downstairs completely redone in the last 2 yrs. All new kitchen, etc.....

Prayers said and will also let my bible study group know on Thur.

Wow...can you imagine deciding to pick a cabin up today and going on this trip in just 5 days! LOL...it wouldn't be the same not having 18 months of planning first!

I know I would be taking less stuff if I just booked. I wouldn't give up these last 18 months for anything. It's been quite the ride.

but as one can tell since i am here several times today.. that my brain has switched into vacation mode... but i still need to go through the motions.. I was gonna work from home tomorrow but partner just scheduled a meeting so.. I guess i be here.. but friday I am definetly working from home.. ( famous last words )

I called all my cards to compare their "conversion rate" or whatever they call the fee for using the card out of the US. Mine ranged from 1% to 5%. I recommend if you have more than one credit card to call all of your card companies to find the best deal. We have three Visas...I have no idea why since we only use DV for everyday stuff and the other sit in the safe. I'm digging one of the other cards out of the safe for this trip so we only pay 1% in fees.

DCL website shows a Cat 12 available if anyone is interested!

That is probably the cabin LaTanya had to give up

I wonder if anyone will take advanatge of it?

I wondered that - did LaTanya have a Cat 12 or do you think maybe someone is getting a surprise upgrade?
