Was wondering how long it would take for someone to ask! Just figured 16 days *7 (normally use around 6/day)... Will actually have more than that, I think when it's all said and done...



LOVE Kona! Are you doing Breakfast? We have ressies for our next trip (not Sept) for breakfast so we can get the Tonga Toast We're also doing Teppan Edo on our next trip... In fact, our next trip is something like 17 days so we've got most things covered!

We may do AK one morning (need to check hours again) and the Studios or something in the evening, maybe...

If we weren't allowed 2 bags I would have shipped a couple of big boxes ahead to the hotel and had to scale down and be forced to do laundry on the ship. SW still allows 2 checked bags for no charge.

So yeah BIP... I watch these postings which talk about managing the kids who are a bit older then our girls (4 and 7) to gleen insight and ideas about possible future challenges and opportunities.

The problems are not fully clear to me - but maybe if I cross paths with ya on the ship when we can sit for a few minutes - maybe you can share some more of your story ... I'd be all ears I tel ya!

hang out with us moms of the 14yo DD's for awhile and I'm sure you'll see the problems quite quickly!

I do like to pay OBC's in advance before getting ot the ship, it makes it feel better as its paid for, and you worry less about your account, plus I can choose the exchange rate time. A lot went on at $2 to the £ its fallen recently to below $1.90 to the £.

Seriously, I take just a couple hours to pack all that I want or need. And if I forget anything ... I do without or I buy a replacement.

Alicia on the other hand will take an hour and a half MORE than she has to pack... guaranteed the same every time! < wink > However, she tends to be quite through and complete in her preparations compared to me.

watching it too. Amazing. USA YAH.....Everyone is up late..Going to bed soon though. Packing done almost for DD6 and me, boys want to do it at the last minute, LOL.

Today made autograph books for the kids, surprise and tomorrow ordering a Limo cause funny thing its cheaper than a taxi to airport. Kids are going to freak out when it's here. LOL

Olympics is getting interesting....

Frankly,

I can't begin to pretend to know much about many of these events. I watch the commentary and pretty much learn as I go about the faults, process and so on. In past years I've been a low intensity observer... with some years where I'd not watch any of it at all! I used to live to just just work - and work every day - day and nite. It was a routine that put almost everything else into the shadows... but now... I've embraced a while mess of regular stuff... like watching more of the olympics then in any past Olympics... whcih still is not saying much < wink >

... sounds nice ta do the limo thing. I've only used one a couple times... yaannno.... when doing the business incentive thing.

I'm driving myself to the port - then I have one of my oldest friends (we go back near 40 years) ... I'll pick him up just before I let myself off at the port - and he'll take my car and park it at his place... he lives in nearby Torrance a block or so from the beach. Then on our return he'll pick us up at the airport with my car... I drop him back at home and I'll save a little scratch.

So ... no limo fer me this time....
