UGH! Soooo sorry! Luckily kids tend to bounce back...lets hope she does. Let her rest, rest, rest!!

Anybody else want to put their kids in a bubble until we leave??? I find myself asking people who call to invite the kids over, or to swim etc...."are you guys all healthy"? LOL Luckily they all know I'm overly paranoid because of DS15 who has medical challenges, so we always need to be careful!

I'm so like that - and here I'm the one with a virus. One of DD's friends had mono in the spring - I'm didn't let them play together for quite awhile. We had some things going on and the last thing I need was mono in the household. Her friend has recovered but still has some issues with tiredness.

Would the real Disney's Grand California Address Please Stand Up?

So, I plan to ship out a box tomorrow to Disney's Grand California - 1600 S. Disneyland Drive, Anaheim, CA 9280?

The web site says 92803
USPS Zip code finder says 92802
The first hotel operater I spoke to said 92804
The second one said 92802.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm leaning towards using 92802 since it has two votes, but that's an odd way to choose.... :confused3

Just shipped 2 boxes to the Anaheim HoJo's and the zip is 02.

Hey, good for you! I always say buying something for myself makes me feel great! I am usually buying things for everyone else.:confused3

Me too, all the time. DD12 said to me, mommy I am proud of you! You didn't buy anything for me or anyone else!! LOL

I also bought tops that were 1 size smaller than I have in a really long time!!

I'm pretty sure M won't forget about a dole whip!
White Water Snacks Nachos -YUM

Dole whips and those nachos look awesome. OK--I can finally kiss my diet goodbye next Tuesday!:cool1:

Thanks..were there really 35 foot waves on July 31st and 20 ft waves on August 3rd!:scared1:

I feel that way too, I just might join you! (DD10 would just die!) :rolleyes1

I think our kids would join in on the snow angel fun! They're so excited!!

Hey, I did this today too!!!! I feel much better. Why does it have to cost so darn much?!?!?!?:confused3

Now, why did I have to read this!:scared1:

Disney had a 10 year contract with McDonald's. The 10 years is up and they are not renewing.

There are still fries in the park but there will no longer be McD's fries.

 :cool1:

I'm rather surprised that there will still be fries in the parks with the current Disney health kick! I'm still really upset that I can no longer get fries with my Casey Dog

No Way! Next thing I will find out is that there is no longer any buffalo sauce at the Chicken Place. I know they stopped selling chicken tenders at CA but DL? Oh no, someone tell me they still are selling them?

Just doing a quick :drive:-by - I had to take a nap as today was the funeral for my neighbor. Tomorrow is stitch removal day, dental check-up, and next to last workout then I'm free to pack.

However, I still have to print and laminate my door magnets and what else? Oh yeah! Pick up my formal but I am going to adopt and refresh myself to Chris's motto - less is more! :lmao:

OK - brain is still fuzzy and the girls are clamoring for pool time. As if I had time. Today was hot - it was 84 degrees at 9 am this morning and 91 degrees at one. Don't know what it is now as I went to bed but when my son tried to send the fur kids out, they looked at him went out and as soon as he left the kitchen - they came running back in. It was actually :rotfl: because who can blame them? Its friggin hot out there.

OK - semi-break over.

:wave2:

Are you referring to the Soarin dash? I forgot which morning that was???

no, no, the no food or drinks on the bus rule.
I'm a very, very quiet morning person. However, my tolerance for noise increases exponentionally with caffeine.

Oh, did I mention the fact that DH and the girls (human) decided it would be safer for them to go and spend a few days in CO with the in-laws. I am starting to get into my packing and cleaning mode and so they came up with this great idea of spending time with "grandpa." :scratchin - how much this has to do with my neighbor dying? I was very proud of the fact that Megan and I went to both the wake, viewing and funeral together. It was rather nice to see the gratitude on their faces just for simply showing up.

Made me reminsce on the fact that us humans do not do much visiting time together and unfortunately have to discover this fact only upon a wake, so my endoeavor this cruise? To party up and have a good time with my friends, new and old! So you all are invited to spend time with me making memories!!!! The more the merrier and by the way, it won't hurt to learn the Cupid Shuffle! :rotfl:

This doesn't explain me - when I "used" to work, in the morning I couldn't hear and when I climbed in in the afternoon, the radio was too high - must of been a teenager who drove my car in the morning and some old fart who drove the car home. Lord knows it wasn't me. :scratchin

:lmao:

Laura,

I am sorry about your neighbor and I totally agree with you on having time to (make time) with new and old friends. As for me I am a new friend on here and I would love to meet you. Please know that I am here for you and take care and see you soon.

Truly sorry about the loss and chin up not much longer and you get to meet old/new friends along this wonderful journey.

Your friend, (new)

I Think its a great idea and I believe that we all want to do it. It would be awesome. I think Disney crew wouldn't know what to do if all did that when we walked in and put our bags down and made angels on the floor.

Lol:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :cool1:
They won't know what to do except stand and stare..... they wouldn't be sure what to say that doesn't sound rude or something. LOL
Maybe a grin or snicker or two? maybe? LOL

Well I may not do it in the atrium unless others are ( :rotfl: ) but does it count if I do it on the bed in the stateroom? LOL

I accidentally edited out part I was going to reply to also. LOL The part about the hair- I got mine cut shorter recently and while I have always always always had super straight hair (even perms didn't want to take the first 3 times- stuff like that) it seems lately I have hair that easily frizzes (possibly due to the fact that I have to get highlights/lowlights now that my hair is coming out super dark when I'm used to having blonde hair my whole life? LOL) and now that it's short if I like get out of the pool and it dries naturally (ala waterpark hairdo) it curls up! INteresting to say the least. LOL
I hope both our hair-dids (LOL you know- got my hair-did instead of hair-do) turn out great tomorrow.

Oh and yes, I want to put my kids in bubbles. We're leaving in a few days and I'm just counting the minutes that someone doesn't get hurt...... no broken bones or stitches please!

WHAT is that stuff on the nachos picture? It looks like beef jerky on the nachos? or something like that?

That might be fine too in the stateroom, but I am game for it. I think we should make a thread for it LOL. Whatcha' think about that...

Your friend,

They have slightly changed that policy, for the better. You don't have to apply it to a cruise up to 12 months in the future, it can be anytime.

And yes, you need to have DCL insurance. If the DCL insurance pays the cancellation fees there is nothing to apply to the future, but if it is denied, you are able to apply it to anytime in the future.

Thanks Tracy
Just a little nuts around here this week and will also be next week so haven't had time to read and post much

Your friend,
Let's run in holding hands skipping and THEN throw ourselves down to the floor and do snow angels. carpet angels?
Let's do it! :cool1:
Let's embarrass your 14yr old DS and my 14yr old DD to death........ i'm game!

grilled, sliced steak
ohhhhhhhhhh

Latest cruise nightmare:

The first sea day ended up being a port day because we never left. And we weren't even on the ship. We had cabins out in the woods.

Spent the day shopping for all the stuff I forgot, but I don't know how I knew I forgot it because I hadn't unpacked!

Came back to the area where all the cabins were and there was a picnic table full of various cakes.

There was some comotion going on, went to check it out and Todd's family had just arrived, a day late. And Melissa was 7 months pregnant??? ((SORRY Todd and Melissa I have no idea where that came from. ))

My parents were on the trip (although they cancelled a long time ago) and all my dad did was sit around complaining about everything.

Finally realized it was 5:30, almost time for dinner, and since this was the first "sea" day, it was formal night. I needed my dress, but it was still packed in the trunk of the car.

As I was walking to the car I realized I missed the Kids Meet that I was supposed to be in charge of that morning.

Can't wait for next week....these dreams are killing me!

Wait, you forgot the drink tasting nightmares:laughing:

I'm rather surprised that there will still be fries in the parks with the current Disney health kick! I'm still really upset that I can no longer get fries with my Casey Dog

LOL
On the upside of healthy....you will be able to find more drink options at the outdoor carts in DL including Vitamin Water, Smart Water and an energy drink, along with the usual soda's. I am not a big soda drinker, and one of my kids cannot have soda, so these are better options without having to go out of our way. Funny thing is the Smart water is 3.75 for the typical ?20ish ounce bottle, and I just picked upthe super tall 33 oz bottles at Pavillion for a buck each...yikes!!

I know DL is really pushing to get transfat free, yet still giving you yummy snacks and food.

Is it just me- or is this thread slowing down? Maybe because some are leaving already? LOL

Hi Gang,
DH Paul is working on finishing DD Lori & my costumes - we're Sao Feng's bodyguards from AWE.
I'm on my way to take the dogs to a new dog park.

Then - I'm going to figure out what clothes to bring - less is more is my new motto!!

OH and the other motto is stress less - I've been takiing Valium to sleep - I don't want that to become a habit!!

Ciao!!

I can't wait to see your costumes!! I bet y'all will look great!!! I take a half a valium lately.....

Safe travels to all leaving for LA in the next few days!

Off to work for another slow and boring shift in the er.

Six more days till we leave.

Hope everyones preparations and packing are going well.

Hope to meet up in chat this weekend.:)

I hope this shift is VERY boring!!! ;)

I know what you mean.

I HATE it when I dream that my dress is in the trunk of my car!!! :rotfl:

Does the Bishop know?

Just stopping by to say hello. I have been too busy with everything to keep up on the boards :sad2: I am so ready to leave, the kids are getting excited and they are getting on my nerves since I have so much still to do. I keep taking deep breathes, not working.:confused3 Maybe I should spend more time on the boards to stay calm. Ya, that is the ticket, that is what I am going to do.:woohoo:

Of course you should!! LOL!

Hey, y'all. Just a quick fly-by post from the Indianapolis airport wanting to wish all of you a happy and safe TOAL before you all start to leave for LA. I wish I was going to be there with you but c'est la vie. Have a great time!

J. R.

JR, I am very sorry I don't get to meet you! The offer still stands that if you are ever in Ft Worth, again....

I just did that yesterday. Color is perfect, but she cut my bangs too short. :headache: That is something that cannot be changed until it grows out, and the trip is too close now :(
Here's hoping all goes well, I will keep my fingers crossed for you!

We can stand next to each other then.....DD did a great job on my hair EXCEPT she cut my bangs a good inch and a half shorter then I ever wear them! UGH!!! I wear my bangs really long -- it covers more of my lines!!! -- now they are too short and I have to wear them brushed back... I look OLD! By the end of the trip they will be long enough to wear like I like them........

Now, why did I have to read this!:scared1:

Christopher...you are supposed to pretend that your wife is all natural and beautiful and it didn't cost a thing. :thumbsup2

Put me in the group of NO HUGGERS.............my DD tests just came back and she has Mono.:sad2: I am hoping I don't come down with it. Her friend had it and oh spend the night didn't tell her for awhile. Ughhh

Anyone heard about Hernan tropical depression? It's 715 miles SW of Cabo. They expect it to turn into a hurricane. Nothing off of Africa but they had to mention all the thunderstorms inland that they need to keep an eye out for.

Just call me Downer Debbie.:rolleyes1
