Well, we finally came to a decision when to leave..It will be Friday night instead of Sunday morning. I couldn't have handled that!!

We are going to fly into Las Vegas..DH needs some say in something. DDs aren't that thrilled about missing DL, but we will have 15 whole days of Disney. And I only have to get on one plane...
We will stay there Saturday, but haven't decided on if we should leave there late Saturday (we are driving from Vegas) or EARLY (say 5am) Sunday.

The last thing I need to do is decide on which flight. There is a 6pm and an 8:25pm from Philadelphia. The 8:25 would work much better as it wouldn't be as rushed (DH wants to work as much as possible on Friday and the 6pm flight would mean not leaving until 2 or later) and it would be much easier for my brother to take us so I don't have to shell out $200-$400 on airport parking. But the problem is it is almost full and there are no seats together left. I don't think anyone would want to sit next to a VERY nervous lady for 5 1/2 hours!! I am also worried that we could get bumped and then the next flight isn't until morning.

Any suggestions??

We have a busy day today. 2 of my DDs have Well-visit appts that they are less than thrilled with since they will involve SHOTS! I have bribed the 5yo with Chuck-E-Cheese and a bike. (The bike is because hers got stolen a few months ago and I haven't gotten around to getting her another yet. Perfect oppertunity! )

Since we will be up the road, we can go to the mall and do some shopping. Have to get these lazy bums up to get ready. Have a nice day everyone!

Do you have a particular airline you want? Or are those just the general flights available?

Is the seat availability from the airline website or expedia type? I find the airline website often has seats not on the expedia, etc.

Good luck! My kids had appts a couple of weeks ago....I had told them they neither one would be getting shots (10 & 7).....turned out that neither had done the *booster chicken pox* shot...... I was the most hated mom on the planet at that moment...... 10ds was trying not to cry because his sister was crying.... It was way sad all around. I did promise the 7yr old french fries -- her favorite treat.

Thanks! At least the beer is taken care of now. That is a HUGE thing in my mind. This way if anything goes wrong, I can drown it away with a couple kegs of beer! Just kidding!

That was one expense / hassle we didn't have to deal with at our reception. It would have involved getting a liquor license and being responsible for anything that happened to anyone who drank anything. Most of the people who came drove 3-4 hours and went home that night so they probably wouldn't have had anything anyway.

We had some bad storms come through our area yesterday. Even saw some hail. Dante & I hid in downstairs bathroom. Looks like more storms this afternoon. At least tropics are quiet.


I am doing waiting for someone to replace faulty smoke detector and new lawn guy to show up.

Steph: It cost me 21.78 to mail my box of FE to CA. I mailed the box because a 3rd checked luggage would be an extra 100.00. You might want to check with airlines on fees. Everything seems to be changing and extra costs !!! We are flying continental.



I did find a place for Dante. Is it ideal & perfect no. It has pros & cons. It is a small place but the dogs are out of kennal all day running and playing inside. They have a doggie door to a fenced in yard. The woman asked if it's o.k if she could take dog home at night. I said yes but I am re-thinking I don't like the idea.
