ETA: Wow! I just realized that this is the first job I've had in a long time that I don't have to write the business plan!

Our flight arrives LAX at 8:42 Sunday morning, we are taking DCL transfers to the port. So whatever time they get us there is what time we'll be there!

I will be taking the DCL transfers from either the Marriott or LAX. I will be surprised next Saturday depending on what DCL tells the Marriott what to do with us.

Although, today, my mind is definitely fixed on things here present. A storm from hell raged through the Chicago area and Northwest Indiana and there is lots of damage here . . . downed lines, et cetera.

Oh, how awful! We went to bed last night, fully expecting a Tropical Storm to hit us in the early morning, but it turned enough that all we got was rain. Not that I'm complaining...

Okay, I have to share my "bargain find" from Target tonight. I was just walking around and happened upon some Energizer batteries, 24 pack of AAA. Regular price was $11.99...marked down to $1.54! Of course I had to buy all 8 packs!

I was thinking of trying this Coral! Kev and I always seem to get sick/colds when we travel.

Another thing we do is Megan (oldest DD) hates Airbonne so she sucks on Zinc lozenges. If we have a cold coming on, we suck on those and it never becomes a full blown cold. None of the 4 of us have been sick in years. Girls were even in daycare and never were sick. Neither has ever missed a day of school for illness. Megan has completed 6 years of school w/out missing any days for illness (vacation- Yep!).

atleast now I know who to hit up if my batteries die- atleast if I can't find my recharger before the cruise. I can't find it! I'm panicking- I need it and don't want to buy another one. where oh where is it?

Well I got bunches done today- including got all the kids school supplies with most of it stuffed inside their new backpacks (obviously all of it won't fit- boy those lists get longer every year don't they? ugh).
Gotta get prepared for them to go to school the very next morning after we get home from the TOAL! I'm hoping to be totally prepared- to come home to a **** & span clean home, everything ready for the next morning including their first day clothes sitting out ready to be worn for the first day (for them) of school.
I'll get them off to school that morning (via the mom-taxi ofcourse) and then probably sit around in depression that the cruise is over and procrastinating about unpacking.
Just a guess at how our first day back will go.

I know it's scary, but I just want you to know that the same exact thing happened to my DH last April with no residule effects. They never did find the cause of the TIA, but believe it was brought on by a LOT of stress at the time. He is on an aspirin a day regime now & has lost a bit of weight & he is doing excellent. I wish all the best for your DH!

Thanks for the info! I'm so glad to hear your DH is fine! I will begin working on my DH about losing some weight. What torture as we go on a 2 week cruise but...
