Very Nice, how is it to drive? It looks so neat, Great colors! Good Luck with it
Jack :thumbsup2

Haven't had a cool color in a long time. We've stuck with "Desert Sand" to keep them from looking dirty all the time....we live on a dirt road....but I really wanted this one to be "fun".

The steering is tight...which I love....it corners something awesome...and it's a pretty smooth ride for as low as it is. My husband is 6' and 220# and he has plenty of room. In fact, we saw a very plus size man trying them out at the dealership and he didn't have any trouble. Our 5'9" son has plenty of room in the back too.

Picture this....when I got home, DH wasn't home with the Yukon yet, so I pulled the Mini into the Yukon's space and turned it into the spot it's in in the picture!! I LOVED that!!!

Oh....and.....does it EVER have some power!! I could get myself in BIG trouble.

Arlene, I have had 3 series of the epidural blocks (01,02,02) 2nd series worked much better than the 1st set and the 3rd has been working since 2002. I wouldn't hesitate to get them again if that siatic (?) started bothering me again.

Same for me. Each shot worked better than the one before, which is probably why they do 3 (duh)....and they have worked for years now!

The docs say that. The sign on the wall at security says that. The security personel will ask you if there is ice in the softsided cooler before they put it through the scanner and comment that someone must be planning to have a good time as it goes through revealing your loot. :thumbsup2

are we sure it's the same at this port though? are we sure because WB repo had no troubles?

Somewhere in the FAQ on DCL's site it says no hard coolers also.

BIP, on the trip reports for Mexican Riviera it says they have had not problems with soft sided coolers.

As far as medical, make sure you fill out the medical form on the DCL site, so they are warned

This quote is taken from the confirmation email that I received from the Palo dining specialist confirming our group room reservation on the cruise.

When I emailed back asking for confirmation of that because of the debate on the board she actually took the time to call me and explain that because DCL is mainly concerned about customer service they will not tell someone that they HAVE to tip the servers, only suggest; however, she thought that it was a matter of using "common sense" to know that the servers receive such a small amount of that $15 [less than $1.00 per person] that you should tip as if it was a percentage of what you would pay for the meal elsewhere. I think that she only used those words because I told her that I was a waitress before and understood what it was like to serve people who then stiffed you while you were getting paid below minimum wage while you were working. I consider the tip part of the cost of dining at Palo.

Thanks for posting this. I've always wondered. The first time we were at Palo, we didn't add anything above the "service charge" that we thought was a tip. We saw Gemma later on in the cruise and she treated us well. The last two times we've been, we've tipped above and beyond the service charge because of the awesome service. Now we know we should always do that.

Ahh Gemma's a very nice lady! Was getting maried just after my last cruise.

Yes, to Deepak who was our server on our last two cruises!! We will miss them both.

We had Deepak as well for our first cruise, what a nice guy. Our second cruise was 18 months later and he came up to us in the dining room and asked why we hadn't asked to be seated in his section  oops.

We requested Deepak for our second cruise, but did not get him. :sad2: After the first night, we realized that our new server was just not clicking with us, so we again asked for Deepak and the head server was able to get us switched. The only downside was that we ate in Parrot Cay twice and missed the "show" at Animators. However, Deepak's humor kept us laughing and he got along great with the kids!!

CRUISE QUESTION ALERT:

We have just a few items left on our cruise shopping list and one is bug repellant for ziplining at PV. The bugs aren't too bad here so anything works well to keep the mosquitos at bay. However, we're not used to having to wear bug spray during the day, so wondered what type/brand is recommended for the jungles of PV.

Thanks!

We use Avon's sunscreen with the built in bug repellant.

We've used Avon skin so soft w/ repellent & sunscreen for many years. Beach trips, last cruise, Yosemite trips and everything in between. It works great, smells nice and doesn't have serious chemicals in it. I bought the spray, lotion and wipes for this cruise when it was on sale.

Did anybody notice on their cruise doc itinerary that Monday was completely left off and no mention of PC day....LOL
DisFrog, who is traveling in our group, asked me tonight at scrapbooking if ours was missing that too....got home and yep...looks like we move from Sea on Sunday directly to Cartegena on Tuesday....LOL

Perhaps they are expecting the engine repairs to be complete, and on Sunday evening the plan is to do a high speed run South and around Cape Horn to get up to Cartegena on Tuesday? :cool2:

It works very well...however..I want to give you a heads up..between now and our cruise..there is only one more order date next week...the orders will come in approx. 8/6/08 .. so there is time. If you don't have a representative - thats ok..you can go to AVON . com and find one in your local area.

I have a picture so similar to yours except DS5 at the time was so tired he was on his knees in the chair and slipped off with his face into a bowl of ice cream. Deepak was trying so hard not to laugh at him and when DS teared up Deepak picked him up and danced him around the dining room with ice cream all over his face!!

Hey folks

I'm going to finalize a couple of lists at the end of this week. Please be sure to update your information.

Who's Doing What located in the Itinerary section. Let us know what excursions you are doing and see if others will be joining you. If you've cancelled anything that you've previously posted, please be sure to enter a new post and let me know the changes.

Grown Up Princesses found in the Sea Day 7 section. Sign up is not required but if you do put your name on the list, you might get a trinket or two.

The travel nurse told us to get insect repellent w/DEET as the main ingredient.
