And you too can have one of these custom made keyboards made for the paltry sum of 1200-1500 (plus) depending upon options selected. See it all here below:

... and for those in pursuit of a complete package for their desk top... here's a 22" monitor recently created ...

This may look like a Victorian music box, but inside this intricately hand-crafted wooden case lives a Hewlett-Packard ZT1000 laptop that runs both Windows XP and Ubuntu Linux. It features an elaborate display of clockworks under glass, engraved brass accents, claw feet, an antiqued copper keyboard and mouse, leather wrist pads, and customized wireless network card. The machine turns on with an antique clock-winding key by way of a custom-built ratcheting switch made from old clock parts.

And if you think about it... it's not all that bad to get a nice set of keyboard + monitor or a notebook like this - or better yet is to have it ALL. Yes.. it costs a bit (arm + leg + part of your shoulder blade) for what they otherwise serve as - but OH how incredibly exotic it is, eh? And its' not as if they cost that much more than what we're paying to sail our TOAL? Maybe Alicia will see things my way on this....

< wink >

I took Brooke & her friend on opening night. Note to self don't see a movie on opening night.:rotfl2: We thought it was Great !!! Everyone was singing and clapping. The only person I didn't like was Pierce Bronson. I thought his singing was  Did you stay till end of credits? I was also surprised to see Tom Hanks were producers.

Yes, we stayed through the credits. I kind of knew what to expect from the play, but it is one of the best parts. If that was Pierce Bronson's voice, not so good, if they edited that voice in, really could have been a stronger singer in my opinion. He is always nice to look at though. He is aging nicely!:)

When I booked with AAA and one other agency in the past, the documents all went to them first. It's just a matter of how the agency sets it up. Some prefer to get the documents themselves first and others will have them go to you directly.

Our AAA agent always has the docs go to her. Checking the website..I see my Mom's will get there Fri but mine haven't shipped.

Our TA always likes to get them first and when we pick them up..she always has a little gift waiting for us :)

Long ago, when sailing ships ruled the waves, a captain and his crew were in danger of being boarded by a pirate ship. As the crew became frantic, the captain bellowed to his first mate: "Bring me my red shirt!" The first mate quickly retrieved the captain's red shirt, which the captain put on and led the crew to battle the pirate boarding party.

Although some casualties occurred among the crew, the pirates were repelled. Later that day, the lookout screamed that there were two pirate vessels sending boarding parties. The crew cowered in fear, but the captain, calm as ever, bellowed: "Bring me my red shirt!" And once again the battle was on. The captain and his crew repelled both boarding parties, although this time more casualties occurred.

Weary from the battles, the men sat around on deck that night recounting the day's occurrences when a young ensign looked at the captain and asked: "Sir, why did you call for your red shirt before the battles?" The captain, giving the ensign a look that only a captain can give, exhorted: "If I am wounded in battle, the red shirt does not show the wound and thus, you men will continue to fight unafraid." The men sat in silence marveling at the courage of such a man.

As dawn came the next morning, the lookout screamed that there were pirate ships, 10 of them, all with boarding parties on their way. The men became silent and looked to the captain, their leader, for his usual command. The captain, calm as ever, bellowed: "Bring me my brown trousers!"

:rotfl2:

   Will be here tomorrow

They're in Massachusetts today :cool1:

Shows shipped yesterday from Orlando. Today they're in West Columbia South Carolina for some reason....

Wow..i was sure by the time I came back..you would already have the pirate:

Must be a slow crawl today...

Ughh, back from my root canal (painless yipee), I though the pirate would be long gone by now (unlike the anethstic in my jaw/lips/tounge lol)

Andy

I was really stressed before my first root canal a few months back. Turns out that generally they are only painful if there is an active infection. Seems the infection actually neutralizes the anasthetic.

I found it annoying, but painless.

ABOLUTELY WONDERFUL NEWS!

Now, I'm getting excited.

As a lot of you know, I am staying on board for the 5-Day cruise after our Repo cruise.

When I booked that cruise, I booked into a room and requested the same room for the Repo as well, but was given GTY status.

Well, when the GTY's were assigned last week, I ended up in 6632. I thought, DRAT (actually, was a bit stronger than that! :) ), I'm going to have to move.

There were a couple offers of room swaps, but speaking with my travel agent (DVC) and DCL, they made it sound like it would be easier to build and maintain an ice rink in hell rather than change rooms on the Repo cruise.

So, we began to go to work on the 5 day cruise. Just today, I was told that my room number for the 5-Day cruise was switched to 6632, so I can remain in my room and not have to pack and move to another when we get into PC on September 1st. I'm psyched!

Just wanted to share that happy news with you!

Yay!! Good things happen to good people, congrats :yay:

The font is Walt Disney Script v4.1

I use PrintShop and when you are creating a headline you can choose from a "color palette", the multi color was one of the choices. Let me know if you want more specifics.

Michelle

Thanks. A friend gave me an old version of Printshop but I never installed it. Might have to give it a try. I'm using paint.net (free download from the web) and I can't figure out how to do more than one color for text.

Great News Mike! I was wondering who got this room. The person who was in that room posted about this on the 5 night thread :)

Oh, Dear God, there's a 5 night thread, too. Another one to inhabit! :)

Gosh, I can't believe you all haven't gotten the pirate yet! I thought for sure that I'd come back from my meeting and it would LONG gone.

Come visit us over there Mike! It doesn't move as fast though :lmao:

My Printshop is really old too. If you decide to install it let me know and I'll give you the quick and dirty instructions on how to do the multicolored headline.

Michelle

Gee...

how long is this gonna take?

I gotta get going any minute now!?
