A looooong time ago on the thread (When POTC AWE was released?), Todd had posted a bunch of "transition" pictures, no make up, died hair, adding this, adding that, was a cool set!

I missed it the first time...that was amazing!

ABOLUTELY WONDERFUL NEWS!

Now, I'm getting excited.

As a lot of you know, I am staying on board for the 5-Day cruise after our Repo cruise.

When I booked that cruise, I booked into a room and requested the same room for the Repo as well, but was given GTY status.

Well, when the GTY's were assigned last week, I ended up in 6632. I thought, DRAT (actually, was a bit stronger than that! ), I'm going to have to move.

There were a couple offers of room swaps, but speaking with my travel agent (DVC) and DCL, they made it sound like it would be easier to build and maintain an ice rink in hell rather than change rooms on the Repo cruise.

So, we began to go to work on the 5 day cruise. Just today, I was told that my room number for the 5-Day cruise was switched to 6632, so I can remain in my room and not have to pack and move to another when we get into PC on September 1st. I'm psyched!

Just wanted to share that happy news with you!

My DD and I went to see Mama Mia yesterday. She LOVED it and I did as well. I thought it was great! I didn't realize Tom Hanks and Rita (oh I'm drawing a blank) were the Executive Producers. Let me know how you like it![/QUO

I took Brooke & her friend on opening night. Note to self don't see a movie on opening night. We thought it was Great !!! Everyone was singing and clapping. The only person I didn't like was Pierce Bronson. I thought his singing was Did you stay till end of credits? I was also surprised to see Tom Hanks were producers.

I just checked UPS - they HAVE OUR CRUISE DOC'S!!!!!! They are scheduled to be delivered on Friday.

I think Discruiser (Kim) is the only one who should be affected. Us in the Dallas area would love to at least have some precipitation from this.

We have gotten a little bit of rain here in Houston from Hurricane Dolly, but it has not been bad at all. They're still calling for more rain later today and tomorrow. Not sure how much we'll get. We could really use the rain.

does it have any personal info on them though? Our neighborhood has been having issues with people taking packages off of door steps, and I now have everything delivered to the school I work at.

I am also with DU. One time I booked a cruise with a TA the docs wen't to her. Go figure.

Thanks Tom, I picture myself more of a " Wonder Woman " type.

Are you planning to decorate your cabin door? DS turned 9 on embarkation day of the 2005 EB repo and this is what I did to our door:

Used the Mickey Heads from Home Depot and curling ribbon to make "9 balloons" and cut up an old Arthur Happy Birthday banner. Inside I strung 4 rolls of crepe paper all over the room and it was just perfect for him.

I will agree with everyone who said up until right before dinner the evening of your DSs bday, remind EVERYONE involved that you are expecting a cake. They made me go to dining changes when we boarded to tell them it was a bday celebration that night and they still forgot!

DS did get a bday button and the sticker on his shirt was from the CMs at checkin for the kids clubs so I don't know how much of this was because his bday was actually the first day. This year Wed the 20th is his day and I am going to pretty much do the same as before.

BTW, the Mickey bday paper I printed on at the bottom of the first picture is actual printed paper I just added the text. A wonderful DISer sent it to me in 2005 and I have some sheets left to share with the first few people to PM me and I will be happy to mail it to you.

I am also with DU. One time I booked a cruise with a TA the docs wen't to her. Go figure.

When I booked with AAA and one other agency in the past, the documents all went to them first. It's just a matter of how the agency sets it up. Some prefer to get the documents themselves first and others will have them go to you directly.

We were able to use the two-way radios from Palo to our stateroom on deck 6 to keep tabs on my DD They also worked from deck 9 to Parrot Cay. I have trouble hearing, but the rest of my family were fine with them. We're also bringing some sticky pads just in case.

My DH is a Leo as well

On our first cruise we (the 4 of us) were seated by ourselves. On our second cruise we were seated with another family of 4 with kids the same age.

No one in my family is excited yet I think maybe it is because I have been talking their ears off for more than a year
Ok DH is a little excited and DD11 is getting there. DS14 is too cool to show excitement

My DH will be turning 50 this Saturday. I haven't even got the card yet. Maybe I can give him the cruise docs? I will make it up to him when we are on the cruise.

Today is going to be one hectic day.
The housecleaner comes today and as soon as she leaves, we are having the entire house carpet steam cleaned and the upholestry furniture too.

I have a Ross and Marshalls very close by and have never been to either one. Guess I could swing by. I am down to not having a true "formal" dress. I have something passible, just not really formal. On the other cruises we have been on a nice short/cocktail length dress is more than formal enough.

I don't have a true formal either and at this rate, probably won't. I did find a nice short dress at Kohl's that will probably have to suffice. My girls will be dressed up though. They're very easy to shop for. I'm having a harder time with my boys, especially the 1 year old. We're not doing tuxes, and I can't find nice dress pants in his size anywhere!

Drat Drat & Double Drat!!!

I just bid on the wrong thing on Ebay and I'm winning. Oh drat!

DS8's tux jacket is way too big, but the pants fit. I took him to the tailor and it is going to be less $$ to just buy a smaller tux and mix and match the jacket and pants.

So what did I just do???

I bid on a size 6 tux with freaking tails! Not a normal jacket. Tails! Ugh.
I really, really, really hope someone outbids me in the next 10 hours.

I recently purchased a new Skagen Mickey watch to replace the one I had that had a cracked face. When I received it, it was everything mentioned (new, never worn, etc.), but was a woman's watch instead of a man's watch. My DW received an early birthday present!! Oops.

I went through DCL.

LOL - Tina mine said it went to some company in NY at the end of June but when I add my zip code it says no information available. When using the confirmation numbers it will pull any information with the same number. Disney is printing the documents over a few days. For example mine were printed yesterday and will be mailed in the next day or two. Hopefully tomorrow or the next day everyone else will have their information on when they will be delivered
