Well I am going to modify my "finger crossed for you". I hope they come back w/ a little tiny problem that will be very easy to fix and then you can feed her chicken nuggets like the rest of us bad parents did.![]()
I can remember the immense elated feeling I had when Megan became cordless. She went from being a baby full of tubes everywhere, to graudually losing the ventilator, then some of the IV's, then all the IV's, to feeding (nasal canula) and CPAP tubes, to the last thing was oxygen of 1/64th a liter on a 50 foot cord to............CORDLESS!!! It took a good 5-6 months before I could pick her up and go anywhere. That was HEAVEN!
Poor Andy. I guess you'll just have to drown your sorrows - once the anethstetic wears off.
I hope you're feeling better soon.

Mine should be in town on Friday.Problem is they are going to my TA and she is out of town until 8/5. I may just have to call AAA and have them send them to me or let me pick them up.
I think DH is finally getting exciting. He asked last night if anyone on the board had heard about receiving their documents. Then he said why don't you ask on the board. He knows the power of the DIS, he just doesn't want to be bothered when I can summarize it for him~~lazy bum.![]()
Come visit us over there Mike! It doesn't move as fast though![]()

It was funny, I just got back in and logged on to see what was happening and decided to post for the fun of it figuring, wouldn't it be fun if I got it without trying? Almost did![]()
Yeah I remember that too!! The day she was extubated after her surgery was the first time she had no tubes on her face! She was already 2.5mo old by then! She had only had the feeding tube through her nose for a long time by then. I would love it if she'd eat chicken nuggets! She really likes flavorful foods. I went to McDs last week and got chicken strips and fries with BBQ sauce and she did what kids are supposed to do... Dunk the fries and suck off the sauce without eating the fry...
This isn't totally related to her eating difficulties though, we think... She's had the runs for 3 months it's normally 4 diapers/day, but up to continuous changing. Could be that her diet is mostly still formula... Could be unexplained "Toddler diarrhea" could be a slew of other things. She has not gained weight in 3months (which is not good for an 18mo old!). Is that because of the diarrhea or because I cut way back on her tube feeds? Dunno! He mentioned a bunch of bad things that were unlikely that we're going to rule out (I hope).
Which precious little furr ball did that Coral?
