It's time to celebrate cabin assignments. Can this work by Jean Fouquet inspire the creative captioners among us beyond yesterday's hilarious results?

Formal Night at Lumiers

What do you mean Cheryl ate all of the lobster tails ??!!

Hmmm that's much less than the $180pp that someone else said earlier.

Disney raised the recommended amount last month. I suggest calling them if you don't believe that it is $180 per person. The amount went up $16.50 per person I believe because I prepaid and now I'm $33 short for two.

Congrats to you too! We're looking forward to seeing you again too! And being able to spend sometime together just chatting (hopefully A-Rod won't be going for some new record!).

WAIT! A-Rod and Madonna are going on TOAL????

Couple of people didn't want to drink alone:lmao: :lmao:

Yes. Drinking alone on a Wed. night is sad. Drinking while typing with imaginary internet friends is not. ;)

Hey I resemble that remark! :dance3:

:rotfl2:
Diane is never alone. She always has Mike.

We bring our Bubba Jugs!

:rolleyes1

I think I played every position in the forward pack except #8. Feel most comfortable as hooker though. Short and stout. It's all for fun!

Wow Johnna. There's a whole lot there that most women will never admit.

Sorry Nick, responded under my wife's name. My wife doesn't play rugby

OOooo she's going to kill you.

Congrats to all who got their room assignments today! We've made it out of the lifeboats too - 7006 for us! If I'm looking at the deck maps right, we're aft starboard side - is that a good thing? Someone mentioned that connecting rooms can be louder because of the door between? Is this true? If so....I apologize now to whoever is in 7004. Honeymooners  next door.....:rolleyes1 (ooops...family board!) :)

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Presently 73 going up to 88 here in Central Florida and raining...

:grouphug:  pixiedust: and prayers to everyone who is going to need it today

:welcome: aboard to all the newbies

Have a great Thursday

I got my room number... Wasn't too thrilled about when I first saw it so I will see how it works out. I don't like that side of the ship, being in the back, or the deck.

Anyways, Im in Stateroom #: 5624

I know I saw a few others that posted here, who else is Deck 5 aft?

Us-Us-Us!! :yay: Rm 5646

I

I bring my infamous Minnie Mouse Zip-sweatshirt!!:rolleyes1 I even wear it with my formals. I also bring a shawl but I am always cold and make John go get my sweatshirt jacket.
Hmmm, so maybe I should bring my christmas present from the kids- the mickey hoody?
you know... JUST in case. Although I'm beginning to think maybe I'm just like whales- you know... blubber that keeps them warm? LOL

I'm so far behind tonight!!

Now I need to go look and see what side we're on. I think it's starboard....but we've always been on the "other" side except for the cruise in the Walt.
Nope...I'm all turned around! We're port, too. Oh well. We'll just have to wait and see I suppose.
LOL
I think it was you, long time ago, that told me you were on portside and we were on starboard..... but we're on the same side? That's what I get for asking you I guess! LOL
:lmao:
Okay I guess I'm on the 'right' side then since it's the side Stacey is on. ;)

Why? It was already more for the more days- did they decide the crew needed a raise (and we pay it) or what?
Dagnabbit, that really limits us on how much over the recommended amount we can give, where warranted. WE're already going to be paying for 5 even though the kids aren't going to be eating dinner with us. and I was budgeting extra to give over the recommended amount if everything went fine.... now they raised it. ugh
Poor people have no business on a disney cruise, I'm telling ya!
(no we're not poor but I feel like it. I don't have unlimited amount of funds like some people - atleast it seems LOL)

The recommended amounts have not been raised in a long time. I highlight recommended because it isn't required. You are not required to give more. You should think about what you think is the reasonable amount and tip that, regardless of what the recommended amount is.

Did anyone answer this question already? If so, I missed it somehow....

What do you do if you book disneyland express (or supershuttle if it pertains to it too) and your flight is delayed or something and you arrive later? It says they run to 12:30am- we've been on flights from Tx before where we were supposed to get in MCO at 9pm-9:30pm or so but ended up arriving after 1am or later! (disaster at the resort the one time we got there like 3am..... and they no longer had our room ugh)
But what if our flight is later than that and we've already paid for the transportation but they aren't running at that time of night? Has this never happened to anyone? LOL
So would we be out the money we spent PLUS have to just find some other transportation? (not sure a taxi would work for the 4 of us plus our luggage... just being honest here LOL)

But I'm especially concerned about Jeff coming in alone and if that happened. No telling what he'd do and how much he'd pay for some other transportation to get to us. ugh LOL
Why on earth do they only do it till 12:30am? Does Magical Express stop at night too in Florida? So if you're flight is in late- you're just SOL?
LOL

Not exactly sure how that reply qualifies me as a captain but, if necessary, ok. :thumbsup2 We are in 6054 so just let me know when we are catching up. Thinking about it, admitting I played before (even 20 years ago), I probably walked right into it!!

In a perfect world I would be XXL--if you can pull that off. I can make due in a XL, if necessary. Not really sure I have the body type anymore to be leaping like in the old days--used to be 2nd row/lock. Maybe a little tall for a prop but I also don't see my big behind getting far off the ground anymore on a throw in. Oh, the memories. . .

Nichloas....my dh is going to play Rugby on CC also, and he has never played before. We may have to get together for a tutorial! :goodvibes

Deanna

Don't worry about a briefing. DH is the ref & has produced a handy "idiots guide to touch rugby" which will be distributed early in the cruise to allow for bedtime reading. Hoping that the list of participants can be updated with cabin # so we know where to deliver to. There is also a prize for man of the match & woman of the match

Thanks Celestine! Okay, you have our room#, so I will tell dh to study up at night. :thumbsup2

Whooo hoo!

In one month we will all be together in person!

Seems like just yesterday when we booked! lol

I guess I have to get myself in gear and work on my door stuff and packing lists etc!

(Don't worry nametags are moving right along!)

I can't wait to meet everyone...

And THANK YOU to all for making this trip even more enjoyable! (If that is even possible!)

Chrissie

Hi Paula. Hope all is well. Say hi to the family. Pete and I will be there. Tell Adam to look for the two drunken pirates. .... Well, probably not a good description for this cruise., but it will be accurate. LOL Jack

:lmao: :lmao: And IF by chance, you feel like you are being stalked---let me know:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We are all great---just working lots! Tell Justine and the girls hello! Hope you all are getting to really enjoy your pool this summer.:goodvibes
