I'm not terribly happy about it.

I had requested more mid-ship and port side of the ship.

Instead I'm very close to the back and on the starboard side.

Which means, more than likely, I get to watch a lot of water go by on my veranda instead of a lot of land as we sail south around Mexico.

Oh well . . . at least I finally know where I am going to be.

Now I can finalize my registration by filling in my room number.

Congrats on getting a room - sorry that it isn't exactly what you wanted.

I hate to throw cold water on a happy day - but I heard from Inventory Control -
There were 8 openings for brunch in the private dining room and our requests were # 9 & 10!!! So - close but nothing for us.

I'm so sorry everyone. Apparently some requests were placed as early as Feb. 2007!!

Congrats to everyone getting out of the lifeboats today!
I too was secretly wishing for and upgrade - a 9 would have been just fine as we are in a 10. ahh swell.

Thanks Tracy for helping me with the OBC questions. YES DCL upped the OBC from 200 to 250 !!!! yeah more DRINKS FOR ME!!!!!!

Now who can point me to the recommended tip guidelines again. I am search "stoopid" I never find a thing.

We have our room 8574 -not quite neighbors but WE HAVE A ROOM:dance3: We can visit......
I also need the list of who we need to PM so we don't miss anything.
Georgiana and Melody

Woohoo!!!

We are also out of the lifeboats as well. :cool1: :cool1:

It feels more real now than it did 5 minutes ago.

We are in 6054. I will go up-date the Pirate website. Unfortunately right now I am in a hotel and the internet access is TERRIBLE!!

Congrats!

We are in Stateroom #5646,Starboard. We love Deck 5 And it's Aft..... just a quick run up to the pop machine!!!!!! :dance3: :yay: :dance3: :yay:

Congrats Debi!

I was brave enough to lay out some clothes to see what I have vs need. I am not doing as bad as I expected. The formal night is still an issue as my dress can be zipped - but I can't breathe or sit down. :scared:
THIS IS A JOKE AND NOT MEANT TO BE SERIOUS (LET'S SEE IF THAT WORKED) but.... If I did get food poisoning or a touch of salmonella I would at least drop a few lbs. The sickest I have ever been is when I got food poisoning ( bit I did lose a lot of weight. :rotfl2:

What kind of long sleeve shirt and/or jacket is everyone bringing? I know air conditioning can be cool inside but I am not sure if I really need a jacket. Thoughts?

I'm bringing a pashmina with me to use as a wrap in the dining rooms. I figure by the time I finish eating I'll be so hot from all the food and the glass or two of wine ;) that I probably won't want anything heavier.

I was just the project away from getting my gold... I've been kicking myself ever since. But our troop disolved long before, our council was awful and very unsupportive and my parents and I had no idea what I could do for the project :sad2:

waaaaay back when...I was a senior and there were 4 of us and we all came from different schools..it was difficult...my DD just earned her Bronze and has picked out a project for her Silver..she just has to wait one more year when she becomes a Cadette.

Is the VR out on secret deck 7, I think I read that somewhere ?? If so, we'll be looking down from Topsiders. :sail:

Actually..we chose the lounge ...and I am terrible at this so..whichever one is on the Magic..Cadillac or Sessions. I am not a big fan of wind and my hair blowing in all of the pictures...feel free to peek! I wish we could have invited people..we talked about it but I wouldn't know how to limit the number of people I wanted to invite!

I posted one of my door signs yesterday.
They are great:thumbsup2 I saved them both so we may be borrowing them:)

Thats not so bad there, its a nice location, easy access to Topsiders but you have staterooms above and below so no noise issues, Starboard should have the Panama viwing gallery and Panama railway to view as we go through the canal. In a lot of ports they use the AFT doors to allow you to embark and disembark, so easy access for that as well.
That's good to hear as we are on the port side. 6122:woohoo:

Yeah us! The number is.....

6016

That is the same deck we were on last time. Now we are officially on the boat!  :dance3:

Okay question.....
is 6030 starboard or port side?
And WHICH side is the side that they take the pictures?
I'm pretty sure we are near you both:cool1:

I hate being cold and have been surprised so many times I just make sure I have a sweater with me on all trips. Planning on bringing a light beige and a dark blue:confused3
Maybe a dressy shawl for the formal nights

Oh, Chris:hug:
Maybe we'll get called for a cancelation:confused3
Thanks so much for trying:grouphug:

Now who can point me to the recommended tip guidelines again. I am search "stoopid" I never find a thing.

The recommended amount is $180 per person for 15 night sailings.

I was at Wal Mart Supercenter last Sunday after church and the Dropps just jumped out at me. I got a packet of 20 for around $5.00 so I should be set. also liked the fact that they work in me "He" washing machine.

Coral,
I can't find them anywhere here in the city! :confused3 Would you please pick me up a pack and I'll pay you when we get there? ;)

UYR59 $3 off SuperShuttle - regular price is $10 per person for a shared van - $67 for a private van - you would book online and arrange a time for pick up

or

$3 off Disneyland Express

regular price is $15 per person - don't have to prebook, these run every 30 minutes

Thanks so much......Just used the coupon code and got the $3 savings for LAX to Anaheim. Saved $12............that more than cover the tip!!!!!!!

Also thanks for the reminder..............that reservation had completly slipped my mind

Okay let me ask again.. since I typo'd originally. (sigh- i ask a question about our specific room and put the wrong room number!)

Is 6130 starboard or port side?

Actually, it isn't disfreaks I'm near, but I am near you:flower3:

6122

I'm hoping we get some pictures at the Canal as we went and bought a banner to hang from the verandah:rolleyes:

So much fun seeing peoples door magnets. Here are some that I've put together - I've found the images here on the DIS in the main cruise board and on the DCL site:
