Yes! :thumbsup2 We are getting excited here...June spent the day working on her scrapbook exchange project. We've been buying and crossing things off of our packing list. Tonight, the kids were perusing the DVR menu and found an old DCL Travel Channel show that we saved back in February. They watched it which got them even more wound up -- like we needed that!

All the talk of rash guards earlier makes me think we should get those now.

I missed the talk about rash guards. Fill me in please?

Glad to know I'm not the only one getting excited. :) :)

Just checking in...

yeah.... me tooo...

Awwww.......

This photo is so CUTE - especially with all the sentimental surprise of the romantic roses an' all - I dare not show ALICIA lest I get berated fer not doin' as John has lavished on ya, Cheryl!

One thing though... which one of these guys was John?

I don't recall you mentioning John was a DANCER on the side - so ...

.. are you SURE those 40 roses were from John an' not one of these other... Ahem,... gentlemen?

< wink>

BTW - in part - I have not been around much because my internet provider has a service issue out here - and I'm getting 10 days refund on the expense from Time Warner - and they're scheduled to send a repair truck thursday to install a signal booster to fix the connection problems I'm sufferring from here. I finally semi-fixed my connection by disconnecting the TVs from the cable line so Ihad enough signal to connect my cable modem - what a PAIN in the **** I tell ya'! It's been soooo vexing and annoying with the constant connection interruptions - and the technical support run around I've had these past 10 days since I returned from that camping thing on the river in South Sequoia 2 weekends back....

edited in ... oooo look, I got a word edited entirely OUT by the little RED "***".... I must say up-front that I am INNOCENT of having posted anything questionable there... purely INNOCENT I tell ya!

Hey everyone- are you getting excited yet? DH never gets excited BEFORE anything.... so he's not reciprocating my excitedness. I"m a mixture of getting excited AND getting a bit panicky. So much to do before we leave on the 11th!

I'm excited, DMIL is excited. DW is soo busy that she just realized she needs to make her pirate night costume (The one from our last cruise won't do for the TOAL). She's excited now, or.....maybe panic just set in lol.

A rash guard also known as a rash vest is a type of athletic shirt made of spandex and nylon or polyester. Rash guards are used for light coverage in warm to extreme summer temperatures for several watersports including surfing, scuba diving, snorkelling, wakeboarding, body surfing, body boarding, windsurfing and kayaking.

Rash guards are most often worn in surfing when the weather is too warm for a wetsuit, and to prevent wax-based chafing from sliding on and off of the surf board. The board's wax holds sand from the beach that would rub against the surfer's torsos as they paddled out to the break. Rash guards also offer some protection from the sun and slight protection against jelly fish stings and are sometimes worn under wetsuits to prevent chafing. Some rash guards offer Ultraviolet Protection Factor to protect against the rays of the sun. A rash guard helps to prevent irritation caused by rapid impact with surface water and waves as well.

Rash guards are thought to have originated in Australia,[citation needed] where they are commonly referred to as "rashies" or "rashys". They are now produced by multinational corporations like Quiksilver, O'Neill, Rusty,

Variations of the rash guard have made their way into many other sports including baseball, American football, water polo, Mixed Martial Arts and football.

well I'm not surprised it's the DW that is panicky. I don't know about your house but in our house- I do everything. so ofcourse I get a little "anxious" when I realize that "everything" is quite a lot to do- for something like a cruise/long vacation. LOL
DH doesn't do the worrying- I do. DH doesn't do the "do-ing"- I do. LOL
All he has to do is try to work overtime if he can so we can afford stuff like this- my job to do everything else. LOL

Just stopping by to tell anyone who is interested the Bed Bath and Beyond has single load Tide for .99 cents per packet.:thumbsup2

Cheryl, the roses are beautiful !
I rarely get flowers anymore as our cats eat them:headache:

Reebok (our cat we had to put to sleep in March) was a climber. No place we could put anything without her getting to it. She loved being at the highest spot in the room and would do anything to get there. When she was a kitten we kept finding her on top of the bathroom door:eek: Just perched up there looking down on us:lmao:
The cats we have now don't climb as much so we find the kitchen counter is usually safe.

I posted this on the previous thread - but it was second to last - so it might get missed....

Campmor has their kids rash guards on sale right now for $15 for big kids and $13 for little kids. Looks like the adult sizes are the regular $25 price (which is still pretty good). This is the rash guard that we use - and we've been very happy with it. Here's the link: http://www.campmor.com/outdoor/gear/Product___45564

The site says yellow and green only are at the sale price, but we got the red ones at that price - so don't necessarily believe it.

Our boys like them, and never go in the water without - even wen indoors. :rotfl2: I think they like the fact that they don't have to spend 10 min of valuable swim time slathering on sun screen.

Myself, I use a full body dive skin. Then I don't have to worry about my legs either. But, I look at the sun and burn. :confused3
