I've done that to 10ds before.....;)

Since our children are spread out in age - 28, 24, 17, 10 & 7...all the same marriage ;) -- we have only done 1 trip together as a family. The 10 nt Southern DCL. That was our TOAL and it was FANTASTIC!!! If dh oculd figure out a way for 28ds to be able to take another 2 wks off this year the 7 of us would be together on this trip, also!!! :goodvibes

I know that some of the teenagers have been talking. 17dd hasn't had a chance to talk lately with working the last few weeks and now going out of the country for a couple of weeks -- she's leaving Sunday and we still have tons of things to go buy for the trip.....

She is doing these Teen excursions --
Cabo -- Teen Surfin Safari
PV - Teen Cruise

She'll probably do the CC Wild Side -- I think she has done that on all 3 of our cruises.
I didn't know your DD works!
and where is she going?
And WHY haven't you answered my last emails to you? :sad1:

Thanks- I was thinking it was you but....... my flag isn't on there!

Happy Birthday Claire!

clairePinkBorder.JPG
OMG is it Claire's birthday? HOW could I miss how close her birthday is? you probably told me but geesh.... I wish I'd PAID ATTENTION. i would have given her a birthday gift when she came to rita's party! I'm such a moron. :(

I hope she has a great birthday!!!
(I will give her a birthday gift on the cruise if we don't see each other again before that)

Shelly this is the original Bip Freak Flag. Not that big but better than your signature one.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!
It doesn't have to be huge- just not sized down because then resizing it for the button makes it pixelated/blurry. Thanks so much!!!

I would LOVE to be able to read that much. It seems like the last couple of years have gotten so much busier.

Today is my 17 year anniversary w/ my company. They say "my generation" switches jobs a lot. I guess I never got the memo. ;)

LOL...I missed that memo too....I have 2 part time jobs...one I've been at for 24 1/2 years the other for 13 1/2.

Happy anniversary!!

but we're most likely..are going to be squeezed for "space". so iam
wondering..is it ok?....just "to do"...those things?

You can do whatever is comfortable for you!

for pettitiecoats junction's sakes..hope.....we don't come back..&
find a "lot"..of granny panties...my lil'sweetie...might get a lil'suspicious.

How did you know what I was bringing you???:lmao:

speakin...OF..." :earboy2: "..forever more...be known as the "justm 's
sealion" ...adventures! :thumbsup2

I knew I'd regret posting that picture!!!

Our video of that excursion arrived today. What fun to look back over our whole day in PV on video!!

That is really neat about your brother getting to time at the meet! My dad & brother just got back from Omaha. One of my Uncles died. :sad1: I had really wanted to go to the funeral but, I have no one that could watch 10ds & 7dd.
I didn't want to take young children to a funeral. We are a very close family and he will be missed.
My brother emailed me a pic of the house we lived in the year we lived in Omaha (my dad is retired Navy and we were stationed there 68/69).

So sorry to hear about your uncle! My Dad knows everyone in Omaha (darn near), I wouldn't be surprised if he'd known him.
My folks have lived there almost their whole lives, and I was born there, moved away when I was 22.
I go back once or twice a year, because my whole family is still there....and now oldest DD and her new husband just got transferred there. Mighty convenient!!

This gets very confusing since Dramamine (regular) contains Dimenhydranate whereas Dramamine Non-Drowsy contains Meclizine (same as Bonine). Meclizine is less sedating than Dimenhydranate. One thing to note is that you DO NOT want to give Meclizine to children 12 and under. They only get Dimenhydranate.

On a happier note today, :yay: Our hospital was finally sold today.:yay: We have been up for sale for 4-1/2 years and entangled in a legal battle between the hospital owners and the land owner. We will now be working for the Sisters of Providence a non-profit organization on the West Coast. We are all very excited.

Roger, the Kids bonnie has cyclizine hydrochloride in it. I take it that is ok?

Wow, with everyone talking about the books they are reading I wish I had more time to read. Got Return to Big Stone Gap from the library. I love the Big Stone Gap books. Hope I can read it in 3 weeks!

Where abouts in Bloomington are you? I lived off of 82nd and Nicollet for about 12 years. My Jr. High and High School are both closed now. Portland Jr. High(I believe is the Administration Building now) and Lincoln Sr. High(now a private company).

We live in Mendota Heights - not too far from Bloomington and the famous Mall of America. :goodvibes

I have a question and it may have been answered before. Is there a list of kids ages with emails? My son is 15 going on 20 and would like to talk to some kids his age before the cruise. He has gone to the kids website but most of the ones posting are 10 or 11 it seems. Does anyone have a child that will go on the WILD SIDE at CC? or any of the other teen excursions? We are going on the OUTDOOR ADVENTURE in PV.. anyone else???

ok.. and thanks for any input.. BTW.. we are still GTY:((:confused3

I have a daughter who is 16 turning 17 on the cruise. I am also looking for a place for the older kids... she hates being called a kid... to meet or talk precruise.

I'm not too sure there are any left down here either. I know the one at our mall closed, the one at Bellevue Square closed, and the one at Westlake downtown closed as well. I'm not sure about Bellis Fair or Alderwood. It is definitely a bummer. We have nothing Disney in this area any more. Our friends don't understand our obsession. Maybe they aren't really our friends???:confused3 :scared1:

The Bellis Fair one has been gone for eons. There is a discount outlet near Mt. Vernon but I think that is closing soon or just closed. It opens for awhile then closes. The one that I was wondering about is the Alderwood Mall one -but I seem to think it might be closed as well. Is there one still in Southcenter?

I'll be in Vancouver next week for my Niece's wedding - hoping to be able to make it out to Burnaby to check out the Disney Store although it's about 40 minute drive at least from my Sister's - things we do for a Disney fix. :rotfl2:

My daughter and I attempted a Canada Cake ... The chef's on the Magic have nothing to worry about :rotfl:

Please, I remember when it was the Met Stadium and a parking lot! :rotfl2:
My inlaws are in Woodbury and I still have family in Bloomington,Golden Valley and Mpls.

Ok I have to go to WW mtg now.. Doubt I lost again but at least I am loosing inches!! I hope I can sign on again...

Keep it up girl, you can do it! I am constantly trying to make that stupid scale move. I am happy to be losing inches also! It's just so hard to be completely happy with the inches while the scale is like a snail!

I am so sorry to hear about your uncle. My very close uncle passed away a few years ago suddenly when he was 48! He had a virus in his heart that he didn't know about, it was so awful.:sad2:

OK, that's it. I'll be dining in shorts and a tank top on TOAL. I went shopping tonight. It didn't end well.

Bellis Fair - you must be near Bellingham. I love Bellingham, spent a bit of time there. Colophon Cafe & Mugga Mocha Moo.

Seventeen is a lot of years!! I'm on year 11 running my own website design company. I NEVER thought I'd still get to be doing this. The demand continues. DH is on year 12 (I think) with his company (ya know . . the one that makes him glow in the dark . . go nuclear!). . . I think our kids will end up needing to be more flexible. Technology changes SO quickly (again why I'm so surprised I still get to design websites!)

Hmmm, let's see. My record with one organization is 34 months.
Of course, we move every three years. Yikes! Just realized that DH has been in the Coast Guard 19 years this week!

I'm so glad to hear all the books everyone is bringing and reading! You'll laugh at most of books I've read . .
Pride and Prejudice
The Shining Knight
Emma
Golly . . I can't remember all the books . . .LOL I try to read most of the books the boys read before they do, but it doesn't always happen.

Right now, I'm read a book about George Washington's Spy Ring. Absolutely fascintating look at warfare in the late 1700's. Funny I don't always see George Washington as a practical leader . . .he's almost mythical, but this book really brings home the day to day decision making process he had to make.

I'm also reading Til We Have Faces by CS Lewis. DS13 read it to finish up his school year and I never got a chance.

DS13 is reading some hardcore classics this next year like BRAVE NEW WORLD and the Great Gatsby (my favorite book in high school). Maybe I'll just bring some of those. I've thought about shipping the books ahead to the hotel in CA and then shipping them home from Orlando. On our spring trip to Orlando, my bag was too heavy and I had to take a book out to lighten the load.

How are you folks getting all those books to the ship?

Paperbacks in the suitcase.

I loved Brave New World, I read it in grad school. My favorite HS ook was Winesburg, Ohio

dahuffy - As a dog lover you would appreciate this story. Today I took our 1 yr old Min. Schnauzer to the vet for vac. Her name is Belle. A few minutes after I left the vet, Belle threw up so I stopped to clean the van. When I got back into the van, she collapsed on the seat. I rushed her back to the vet. They rushed her to the back and started working on her. She had gone into anaphylactic shock! After much care, she is home recovering now.

REAL QUESTION

Our pirate board creators....I am almost done with a prototype for the name tags....can I send to someone to post for people to view and critique???

Chrissie

Good Evening.............Glad to see I only have 14 pages to "Ketchup" on since I was last on.:surfweb: It has been a real long day, I was up early and on the road 6:45 this morning and it's hard keeping my eyes open.

We are going on the cruise next month !!!:woohoo: :woohoo:

We are all opinionated!!!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

She had gone into anaphylactic shock!

Sorry to hear that June.... My lab has bad shot reactions too...

Luckily no shock yet... But we get her an adreneline shot beforehand and give her benedryl for a few days and it's not as bad...

luckily most shots have gone to a 3 yr protocol now...

Okay I hate to admit it but I remember the Met Stadium as well. It is now an IKEA store, How sad!

I want to know how you got out of here. i am from the East Coast but I married a Minnesota boy. Minnesota boys NEVER leave Minnesota.

YES I KNOW! lol

I like peoples opinions and I won't be the only one wearing...so I want to make sure people like..(I know I can't please everyone..I like to try) just want a majority opinion. (I am never satisfied with anything I do!-always room for improvement!)
(BTW I have a great drawing..it is on my todo list to finish for you! haven't forgotten!)
