8:15 PPO ADR at TH or 10:35?

Hello,

I am torn between the above options.
We are a party of three, DH, DD2, and myself.

I am currently leaning towards the later brunch, to have a little more relaxing morning.

FPs are as follows:
9:30-10:30 KS
11:30 FOTLK
4:30 Nemo

I was planning to use the first fast pass around 10 and take the hour after rope drop to meet Mickey and Minnie, take Photopass pics, etc

However, if we do the 10:35, we may have to skip Flights of Wonder due to schedule restrictions. Is this a a big no-no? Would DD2 absolutely love the show?

We are about three weeks out, and the anxiety seems to be setting in. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I love my Tusker PPO. I wouldn't do it any other way.

When we go to TH, we generally take a reservation that's around 10:30. We ride some rides pre breakfast like Expedition Everest, Dinosaur, etc. then hit the safari right after our meal. That seems to work for us. Sometimes, we use it as a day to sleep in etc. And I personally like eating more of a brunch than an early breakfast. But I have to preface that our kids are a little older now and when they were younger, we probably picked the earlier time.

We have done both- and prefer the later (get best of both worlds- breakfast and lunch) and also have a much easier morning to spend touring the park. We have little ones- so sometimes getting all the way to the back of the park is difficult that early in the morning. Also- no matter how much we plan to be on time and early- it always eludes us. Either way both times are really perfect- it really depends on how you tour (IMO). Prepark will get you on the safari early- without having to use your FP for it.. and snag an earlier FOTLK time..or you could do africa and rafiki and then use TH @ 10:30 for a nice break from the heat/humidity.

It looks like you have a long day planned. With those fastpass times, I would choose the late breakfast option (and the 10:30 timeslot may get you some more substantial lunch offerings also, as they change the buffet over from breakfast to lunch during your dining time). The only true advantage that PPO gets you at AK is being closer to the safari.

Grab a quick snack on the way to be at the park for ropedrop. At ropedrop head to the safari - most people are heading either for the safari or EE. If you walk briskly, you still should be amongst the first few vehicles on the ride. You should be able to drop your FP and use it for something else.

The 10:30 meal will be more substantial and probably hold you through the rest of your day (other than a snack). With the PPO breakfast and going until at least 5:00 pm, you'd probably need lunch somewhere anyway. So, with the late breakfast you also have the benefit of saving some money.

Thanks, everyone! I think I am going to stick with the later one. We are doing Fantasmic the night before and don't know if we are going to be able to get up early enough to do the PPO. Although I love the idea of a PPO and powering through the morning, I also don't want to have a super cranky two year old :) Thanks again!

I choose to do Tusker House at 10:30, enjoy the morning at Animal Kingdom and then do a late breakfast...... whatevere you choose is right.. :)
