Evening all. I have had a couple of hours to myself and went to get a pedicure, eyebrow shape and leg waxing done before we leave on Sunday. I nearly fell asleep getting my feet massaged it was so nice!

I still have a ton of jobs to do before we leave but this afternoon Darren was cutting the worktop for our vanity unit in the en suite so I have been playing with the girls.

They are in bed now so two minute on here then it is BACK TO WORK!

Kristin & Denise - we are big on nicknames in our house too - no one gets called by their proper name it seems!

Isabelle is either: Izzy, Belle, Lula-Belle, Whizzy and all manner of other names, Olivia is pretty much always called either Livvy or Lulu!

Right, off to finish up some jobs may pop by again later though!

The photo is from my dinner with Marco and Laura last night. As I said, we had a wonderful time.

Here is the summary of today so far:
Very hot, great breakfast at Cape May, HORRIBLE bus service at DTD, did I say very hot?, water that was delivered is WONDERFUL, time in the pool, etc.

That's all for now...time to go to a DVC presentation...NO WAY are we thinking of buying at this point in our lives but since we had free time we thought it would be fun to check it out (and get some free VIP fast passes!).

Good to "see" you, Emily and Laura, Jen. Sorry that the bus service is not good - we are relying on the buses for the first four days so I am hoping they won't be too terrible from OKW!

We also have a Lulu in our group and poor Drew is just Drew..

Elin and I will be doing the pedicure and manicure stuff on Sunday, its been a kind of tradition for us to go together right before our trips. I have created a monster Elin loves pedicures and manicures, for her 16th BD she and 5 friends did a spa day Manicure, Pedicure, Facials and Massages...it was a blast.

Hair on Tuesday (I'm old and gray, but no longer gray after Tuesday) Elin will be getting some highlights, so she will also be ready for the start of school.

Its kind of quiet with alot of people already off on their trips I am so jealous.

Well I hope everyone is have a good Friday evening...we are under severe thunder storm warnings so I'm hoping it passes us by.

Hi again - well it is 2 am here but I am just doing a spot of packing and a few jobs while the house is quiet!

Hey, that was me last night! Hoping to get to bed a little before 2 tonight. Online check in for Southwest is 7 am tomorrow so I'm sleeping with my computer next to the bed tonight so I can get in boarding group A.

Working on gathering all the "stuff". It's actually all gathered and on my bed right now. Trying to sort it somehow by things I need for Disney and then cruise specific items only, maybe do a seperate bag that wouldn't have to be opened while in Disney. My DH is flipping out about my FE gifts. I'm afraid to weigh them but lets just say the kids are bringing bigger suitcases to spread the load out. Want carry on packed tonight and then clothes will be loaded tomorrow after a final load of laundry.

DD and I went for pedicures today. We were the only ones there and they kept trying to talk me into more expensive packages. UGH!

Well, back to trying to figure out the packing situation...

I find the packing too overwhelming to deal with! I do a little here and there, then I get overwhelmed and fatigued, and have to stop again for a few days!

I keep piling up 'to be packed' items in the guest room, to help me feel some sense of accomplishment! Sigh. I will have to tackle that this weekend.

Megan-packed, bag weighs 43 lbs with 4 out of 5 bags of FE gifts
Gina-carry on packed, all "stuff" together, clothes tomorrow
Jim-responsible for self tomorrow
Daniel-pack clothes tomorrow (he's the easiest)
Everyone's still up (it's 11:21pm) watching Yankees vs. Red Sox game in 12 inning, score 0-0 (of course, the girls are doing the organizing and packing-the boys are watching the game).

Tomorrow's to-dos:

• wash todays clothes
• library to renew kids books/check out new
• Grandmas house to pick up DS goggles he left there
• Go watch 1989 winning Little League World Champion team 20 year reunion (which includes Chris Drury, NY Rangers player) to get his autograph for hubby (he's from Trumbull!!! have to get his jersey signed!)
• ]Head to airport hotel for early morning flight Sunday to Orlando

Off to bed with my computer in tow to get ready for my early morning airline check-in

Doing ok, We had over a year to plan for this. While its still a little unreal its more of a relief than painfull.

It's a little harder on my other brother as he was closer in age, but even for his faimly its a relief that its over.

ALS has that effect on families and this is the second time we have been thu this, as our Mom also passed away from ALS back in the early 80's
