Just had to post how much I dislike the new DCL site! I cannot get on because every time I try to log in...it says that my login fails!!! I want to cancel my spa appointment as we have decided it really is not worth the $$ for us - so many great things to do on the ship that cost so much less!

I had a similar problem and got so frustrated that I ended up creating a new account using my e-mail instead of DH's!

Finished all 4 Mickey head preps for tie dye shirts. Will dye them tomorrow, kids are excited. DH is anxious to see if they work out, he's being a bit skeptical...

After reading your posts about the new website I had to check it out. I was able to get on with no issues. My only concern is that I booked parasailing for our family plus one member of another party that is linked with ours. Her reservation did not show up along with ours. There are clearer pictures of the cruise gifts available. I'm debating ordering the new leather passport wallet for myself. I posted a question on the regular boards but no one had gotten one yet. Does anyone know if it's returnable to the stores if I don't like it? I believe it is an exclusive item so it may not be available in the shops.

Sailing is lovely but we decided to go with a motor because we will have more options for where to go -- and we are sailing on our charter out of St. Thomas

We are doing FE gifts even though we missed the official cut off date - last time the kids loved going around and dropping the presents in the pouches so much - I couldn't tell them I missed the date!

Just wanted to mention that so people didn't wonder.

Good Evening Everyone!!!!

We are home from the cabin - it was nice but pretty cold!!! I am so sick of cold weather and cannot wait for the warmth of Florida! We were able to spend time with our friends and my mom, plus do a bit of work up there.

I am VERY ready for our last 3 days at home! I cannot believe that we are finally this close. There is still a bunch of stuff to do...tutoring, last dance classes, haircuts for the boys, a couple of last minute magnets that I decided I can't do without, rearranging some of the stuff in the luggage to make everything fit, laundry, last bit of housecleaning and more!!! It is good to have a bunch to do so that it helps us pass the time!

A quick questions for those of you who have cruised before...

I would like to skip packing shampoo but am concerned about having enough for everyone. DD has a lot of hair and uses a lot of shampoo. Do you think I can skip it? Will they give us extra if I ask?

You should not run out of anything DCL provides (shampoo, etc.). And, you do not need to tip them any more if you use more. I'm sure the apprieciate the tip they will receive. We have tipped more than the recommendation in the past, and we have requested/received extra lotion to take home with us.

Susy - That is so sweet that you are still going to pass out presents! As I told you...I still had a bunch of stuff left over and put together a FE gift for your cabin! It is not exactly the same as the rest of mine - hope you do not mind "left overs" but it will still be a nice gift!

We are in NY and waiting for the connecting flight to Orlando ...
Heading to a good restaurant to have a decent meal ... it's 9.45 PM for us (Italian time (we still need a few hours of waiting, the flight to Orlando and the town car to AKL(

WOOHOOO!! I had the most productive day here, planning/packing-wise. Thank God for the rain here (again) in upstate NY.

WDW tshirts: DONE
Magnets: DONE
Cruise suitcase and garment bag: PACKED
FEs: DONE and PACKED
WDW suitcase: everything laid out, just waiting for the shorts, toiletries etc that will be worn/used from today - Wednesday.

Now I just have to get through three days of work (I'll be travelling on Tuesday and Wednesday ) and then we'll finally be on vacation....
