Gotta love your Ode to waiting for DCL!

I caught the Magic on Two Palms in the end, just a couple of minutes later than I expected!

Right, I am really going to bed shortly when the cases are in the car! Hand luggage is packed, just making a few adjustments to DH's laptop to try and make it work with my camera.

Night

Okay - I have a question for those that are left. We are planning on stopping to get some water on the way to the port. The question is should we bring a cooler or will there be a refrigerator or Ice bucket in the room to use?

Thanks

Janeanne

I need help....I decided (about 36 hours before we leave, mind you) that I need a new fish extender. So I got all my material- how wide are yours? The one I had last time was pretty small just a plastic princess one, but I remember that the ones that people made were bigger and so much cuter! I've got it all layed out now, but it seems huge! Let me know what you think!

Gotta go.... leaving Monday at 5am and have so much to do!

Hi All,

Just got home from all day in Boston. We were at Fenway Park watching a double header called "futures at Fenway" which is two minor leauge games. It was a fun day, but long.

Now tomorrow is my day to pack and get stressed!

I will check in tomorrow and let you know how I am doing.

I found this on another board

For making fish extender

Home made using Iron on transfer paper that prints on our home ink jet printer.
You need 1/4 yard of fabric, iron interfacing, wide double fold bias tape, and a 3/8" dowel 8" long.

Pockets are 11" X 5 1/2"
Back is 32" X 8"

Cut out backing and pockets then iron on interfacing.
Sew bias tape on top of pocket
pleat once on each side and pin bottom of pocket so that it is 8" wide.
baste, then pin bias tape on bottom and sew on
Pin pockets on backing and sew bottom of pocket to backing
Pin and baste around entire outside of project.
Pin then sew bias tape around outside edge of whole fish extender
fold top over leaving room for you dowel at top and sew along the inside of bias tape down each side to secure.

Well the errands are run
The packing has begun
Stress level is High
Somehow we will get by

The Pins are waiting to be traded
The magnets are all maded (okay that was bad)
Our FE gifts are waiting to be handed out
We are now just waiting about

The days are just crawling
The cruise ship is a calling
Only 6 more days until
We all MEET!!!

Love the poem!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

How is it I have been flicking back and forth at Two Palms Web Cam for the past 20 minutes and still haven't seen the MAgic! It did leave around 20 minutes ago right?!

Packing frenzy here, we leave in the morning for the airport, and then fly on Monday. Got hair cut and coloured today and DH FINALLY finished the DIY!

So looking forward to landing in Orlando on Monday evening!

Safe trip to all the rest of you :) See you onboard!

Do you check the cooler as luggage?

No,, I fold it up and put in my suitcase and then take it out when I get there and roll it on as my carry on once we are there.......

Took the car in for an Oil change and of cource it always more than planned to spend, This time the Serpentine belt ware indicted it was time to be replaced. Multiple cracks , but I can't really compain, aveage ware is 30,000 to 60,000 miles and and I at 65,000 and it was still working, but could have gone in the next 3 -5,000 miles judging by the cracks.

With a 2000 round trip coming up in a couple days I wasn't going to take a chance.

So true! Isn't that usually the case! I had my oil changed the other day too.

Hi All,

Just got home from all day in Boston. We were at Fenway Park watching a double header called "futures at Fenway" which is two minor leauge games. It was a fun day, but long.

Fun! I haven't been to Fenway in a long time. I was at a baseball tourney all day yesterday with DS (well, first a trip to the mall with older DS!); we didn't get home til 10 or so...I had to skip it today, b/c I just can't fit 8 hours of baseball, plus 3 hours driving, into my last day off before the cruise!:scared1:

I hate to miss it though; DH promised to call in with regular highlights!:mic::love:

hmmm...I see a long day of laundry and packing ahead of me :laundy: ...and I still need to do my family cruise shirts! maybe I'll just lay down for a few more minutes....:rolleyes1

P.S. Great poem, Ms Allard!:thumbsup2:laughing::cheer2:

Morning, Everyone,

I need to get some laundry put away and more washed before the trip.................

Then some last minute packing so I don't have to worry about it this week at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Good Morning -

I am with Kristin

Laundry is done and hubby is finishing the packing today. I can relax :goodvibes this week and just concentrate on work - ICK - and making sure the house and animals are set for our departure.

PS DH says I cannot run any more errands to "Just pick up the one last item" for the trip. :rotfl::rotfl:

Off to see a play of High School Musical with my SIL and DN's today.

Talk to you all tonight.

Tropical Weather Outlook

Statement as of 8:00 am EDT on August 9, 2009

For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico...

A low pressure area associated with a tropical wave is producing an area of showers and thunderstorms between the Cape Verde Islands and the coast of Africa. This system is showing some signs of organization and could become a tropical depression during the next couple of days as it moves westward at 10 to 15 mph. There is a medium chance...30 to 50 percent...of this system becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours. Regardless of development...showers and thunderstorms with locally gusty winds could affect portions of the Cape Verde Islands over the next couple of days.

Elsewhere...tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 48 hours.

LOL :rotfl2:

Hubby thinks that's one of the great things about shipping ahead- that I can't keep buying stuff to add to the suitcases

However...he doesn't realize that I've been ordering stuff from amazon with free shipping to be delivered to our hotel in orlando!! :rotfl:

Shhhhhh.....
