How did everyone get on? I got my preferred Brunch and Dinner times at Palo, my finger slipped and I booked a massage for the afternoon in St Thomas as I know we will be back at the ship and the girls will be done with sightseeing by 3pm (Livvy will need a nap and Izzy will be wanting to go play in the club or use the pool)

It certainly was frustrating, wasn't it? It would give me the option for Sunday and Monday, then go thru processing it, then say it wasn't available, then make me do it again....repeat 3 or 4 times....meanwhile, the clock is clicking away, and other cruisers are clicking away...

okay, now I can't get to sleep...too much cruise planning to do!

I was getting the same thing, it was like a tease the Day and time I wanted for Brunch was there but I kept getting an error when it was selected. I decided I should just take Thurs since that was the only other day opened.

I hope I will be able to add my BIL and SIL to our reservations, they are not Castaway members so they will not be able to make right now.

Well I am off to bed, Happy Planning...

I feel your pain!!! Good luck, and don't worry...if it doesn't come through tonight, I just know you'll get another chance. I'm fairly sure that Palo, for instance, holds some table spots for later reservationists.

I'm getting the same error! I can't get my reservation retrieved!!! This is so frustrating!!!

Oh no that must be so frustrating. I hope you get it sorted and are able to make some reservations. If not I hope you can get what you want when we get onboard.

I am done! I hope that everyone gets what they want. I had DH sitting next to me reading things to help so it went really fast.

Here is what we have:

Palo Brunch: Sunday @ 11:00 (no option for 10:30)
Paul Dinner: Wednesday @ 6:30
Spa Rasul: Monday @ 9:30 a.m.

That was all we wanted because we are doing DIY excursions on Tortola and St. Thomas - nothing on Castaway Cay.

Awesome! Got my Palo brunch for Monday at 11:00 and my Palo dinner for Thursday at 6:30. Nice and easy...and no problems. Had time to throw in a couple of spa choices too!!! Night all, and good luck.

and we will see you guys in Palo at Dinner on Thursday - I am hoping it will be a good time with sunset etc... but regardless of the view, the food will be DELICIOUS!

PS we also booked up our alloted 10 hours of Flounders time, 2 hours late morning \ lunch time on each sea day so DH and I can enjoy a lunch date and 2 blocks of 2 hours on Tuesday and Thursday evening so dinner is less stressful (we are early dining so I booked the nursery for one hour into the meal so we can all eat together but the kids don't have to last for 2 hours straight - it is a looooooooong time when you are 4 years old and even longer if you are 19 months!

I was just re-reading my trip report (ah, good times!) from 2004 (link below) and in it I reported that when I showed up for Palo on the first sea day, they didn't have us down at all! Yet they showed us to a table right away - sounds like they have some flexibility! (I had forgotten all about that!)

I've been at this now for over 40 minutes and still can't retrieve my reservation even though I'm logged in. I've logged out, logged back in, etc. and it still shows that error message!

All the brunches are GONE??????!!!!!!!!
Now I have to go wait on line??? Not what I had planned to do. My 5th DCL and I couldn't get a stinkin' brunch...

Sunday Brunch at 11am
Sunday Alone Time Spa 2-345

Totola Virgin Isle Sail & Snorkel

St John Trunk Bay Beach & Snorkel

Thurs Palo Tea
Thurs Palo Dinner 9pm


If anyone has the same times for Palo as mine, I would love to have company as I will be dining alone.

I was also only able to book for 2 and they paid in full when we did, I am going to need to see if we can add them later.

We were able to add my DSIL and BIL to our Palo Dinner, but we were unable to get a table for 4 for brunch or tea. We also could not book their shore excursions with us. Is this an error? They are paid in full...

We did reserve:

Palo dinner for 4 @ 6pm Thursday
Palo brunch for 2 @ 11:30am Sunday (a bit later than we had hoped)
Palo tea for 2 @ 3pm Monday- for some reason we can't edit it correctly and it shows my DH and BIL having tea

CC Stingrays @ 10am
CC parasailing @ 2:30

I hope we are able to correct or finish up our reservation when we embark.

We just got back from the play and my sister was able to use my directions to book everything. We got:

Tour of Virgin Gorda (Tortola) same as Day at the Baths without lunch
St. John Trunk Bay (St. Thomas)
Extreme Package (CC) at 10am
Palo Tea Sunday at 3pm
Palo Dinner Monday at 6pm
Palo Brunch Thursday at 11:30am

She said that she forgot to submit between her picks until she was almost done. She still got everything and I have confirmation numbers. So, that was good! She did a great job. Between the two cruises, we'll be eating at Palo six times!

90 days and counting!!! actually 83 days since we are on the 8/8 cruise too. I'm actually working in Florida (Tallahassee) for the week before the 8/8 cruise too....so I can really say 77 days....

WE always can get a table showing in at the restaurant -waiting list - they will call your cabin if a table is available ...

SURELY you will be able to "link" your tables at Palo ; just ask when you are onboard.
They are "ITALIAN" ... ie VERY accomodating ; they will look at your reservations and put your two tables together !!!!!!!!

I was so relieved when the shore excursion CONFIRMATION did appear !!!

They keep tables for the non Castaway people ; try again at the 75 days mark, I am sure there will be a few seatings available.

And , in case you don't get it, run to Palo reservation desk as soon as you board the ship . A few places are kept available there.

Your last chance is to show up at Palo from time to time and keep asking : at times a table clears up and they will call you in your cabin !!!

Sorry to correct you but they do not release any more at 75 days, albeit some people may cancel and if booking private room about 30 days before cruise there will be cancelations.

But if you get to port early and go straight to where they are taking Palo ressies you will get one.
