Today DD had an appointment to get fitted for her first pair of pointe shoes and it was a very special day for her! I am now going to celebrate St. Patrick's Day while sewing the ribbons on them for her!

I am making risotto and lemon chicken (not very Irish) but it still makes a special meal!

My daughter was also excited when she got her first pair of pointe shoes this past September. While her feet hurt I give her a lot of credit by keeping with it.

Yep- we booked almost a week after. We met with the CM on the ship and she said that she could give us 10% plus OBC, but that we could watch for better deals for DOD employees (usually announced 60 to 30 days prior to sale date). They just announced the August and a Sept. DOD (aka MTO) discount for the 7-night cruises this week. I found it listed on MouseSaver- what luck!

We had a cat. 9 room last week on the 4-night cruise and will be trying out a cat. 6 for this longer cruise. I did feel a little sea sick on the first night and a little on the last night too so I hope the verandah helps instead of making it worse.

Hello everyone. It was a beautiful day here in CT. However, I cannot wait any longer for this cruise. I am so excited about the cruise and meeting everyone in person.

My kids are upset that we told them so soon - the anticipation is killing them.

Anyone use the Owners Lockers for cruising? If so, what do you keep in them?

Hello! We are going to have to get the girls to e-mail! Sounds like they have so much in common. Emily is going to get her first pair of pointe shoes tomorrow and she is so excited!

I bet she was very excited. Paige cant wait to get hers, alot of her friends have recently gotten them, she has a little bit to wait yet...

She was so excited! I sewed for hours last night so that she could wear them to pointe class today. Emily has been taking 3 ballet classes a week (plus dance conditioning and all her other classes) to help strengthen her muscles - it is nice to see all her hard work rewarded.

I bet Paige is anxious to get hers...Emily has been watching all the other girls in the class get hers and it was a bit hard on her at times.

Tonight though, she said it was worth all the work she has put into it and even though her feet ached...she can't wait for her next class!

Totally, nutty day here.....The school called no water this morning...They said they were going to bus the kids to the Middle School and High School.... Their teacher called her class was very upset and did not want to go.... She asked if I could come and pick up my kids and my neighbor. So I did took them to McDonald's and then they played here.... Then I had to go to a school meeting but we had to move it since we could not meet at the school due to no water. I wonder if we will have school tomorrow!!!!!!!

I did do some updating to the site last night. Here are things to look for:

1. Updated our DIS list. It is great that we are getting new people and that some of the people who were on the list are now letting me know details to make our list more complete.

2. Added to our lanyard order list. We are up to 50+ lanyards.

3. Added to our DIS meet & greet page. I will wait to hear if people let me know they are interested before I add them to the list of meets.

4. More fun stuff - new photos, new trivia and a new blog entry.
