Jen, just a thought .
Why don't you try and shop around for a high-level hotel OUTSIDE WDW ?
You may find good deals with hotels on INTERNATIONAL DRIVE ; I recall a Marriott ( or Radisson) at prices like the All Stars ...

You could also check prices with the hotels close to Downtown - we have been at the Hilton at very good rates in August ...

We thought about it but we will not have a car and using the ME just seems easiest!

Plus, we have to figure out how to transfer from our first WDW resort to the Poly for when our package starts.

Would have loved to have rented DVC points but one of the 2 nights is a Friday night and that makes it too expensive.

Thought about the Swan as well since we are teachers and they have discounts but I just think we will skip the extra cost and do the value resort.

I'm new to this. May I join your group? My family and I (husband and two daughters, ages 4 and 2) will be on this cruise. This will be the third for my husband and I, the second for my 4 year old and the first for my 2 year old.

We love cruising Disney and wish we could do it more often!

Thank you for your website info - This is my family's 4th Disney Cruise. Cruising will be myself, DH, ds 16, dd 12 (almost 13). My daughter is not into the kids clubs, mostly likes to play sports. We are from New York. Staying in Cocoa Beach for 2 nights before the cruise.

Laura - I am glad that you like the website. It really has not been hard work. I wish that I was a bit further with the excursions but it is the end of the trimester and I should be entering grades.
