Hi everyone.
We're on this cruise and the next !!

Thats me Bev, Dave (theFatMan), Nicola 14 and James 12(on 17th Aug).
We're at Broadwalk for 8 nights then Raddisson 2 nights (Grills/ Fishlips etc ) then two weeks Magic !! then back to boardwalk for 4 nights then back home to London.

Would love to join in on the fish extender exchange.

Off to catch up with the past threads...wow you guys have been busy !!

What is a Fish Extender Exchange????

Fish Extender is when you hang a bag or Fish Extender some people make them with little pockets, etc. Then you hang it from the fish out side of your door on the cruise hence the name Fish Extender Name. Then you bring a little gift for all participants of the Fish Extender. Such as candy, something that represents where you live, a food item, a Disney themed thing item, etc. Then on your assigned day on the cruise you go and put what you brought in everyones Fish Extender. It is fun last cruise we got such Great stuff and the kids were so VERY excited to come back to the room and see what was left for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can leave any type of small gift that you want. It does not have to be Disney themed it can represent your home town or anything that you want.
No it does not matter that you do not have children. As we get closer we can schedule the day on which everyone will deliver. In the past we had a few people deliver each day. We can all pick what day we want.

Ed, any chance we can put this list on the front page and I will let you know when it needs to be updated? Thanks,,,,!!!!!!!!!

My family and I will be at the Caribbean Beach for 2 weeks, then this cruise, then home cause i start college 2 or 3 days after the cruise!!! we decided to drive to FL cause we do that every year. maybe this time my parents will let me drive down I-95!!!! that would be awsome!!!!

Hi Jude, I haven't looked into excursions yet. We usually don't plan too much, but I want to see what's "different" in Tortola.

Hi Samantha, my oldest is 16; he'll be close to 17 when we sail. He's a Disney fan and hangs out occassionally on the Teen Disboards. He'll be looking for kids to hang out with on the cruise too! Where on LI are you? Are you applying to Nassau CC? I'm originally from the South Shore.

I made a thread on the teen boards. nobody has responded to me yet LOL. and yes i actually just finished applying there LOL. i was thinking of starting there for 2 years then transfering over to another school, possibley C.W. Post. Im from Bellmore. i call it Boremore cause there's nothing to do here LOL .

has DCL already done Tortola trips? I want to post on the main boards about excursions, but didn't know if this itinerary has been done yet.

The Tortola excursions are wicked expensive (especially multiplied by a family of 5!); I'm wondering how easy/difficult it is to do on your own. On our '04 cruise, we had a day at a beach with no advanced planning, and it was wonderful (St. Martin).

The Baths look beautiful. Looks like on your own it would be at least $35 pp in transportation (ferry/taxi), plus admission, lunch. Still, $85pp for the excursion is very steep.
