Good afternoon all!! Did you guys see the ports that the Magicis going in 2010- supposed to be the Baltic(St. Petersburg, Amsterdam?, Denmark- interesting itineraries)- they have been speculating on the other threads- they are like private detectives. :thumbsup2

I've been following that for some time now, its amazing what you can find if you know where to look.

I am wondering about a 2010 itinerary - we have family in the UK and we are long overdue a trip back there - but I have to have some fun too! So wondering about a TA crossing or perhaps a cruise whilst over there. Certainly visits lots of the European countries that I have not visited!

Is it speculation or fact?

The most glorious day of the year, birthdays and Christmas aside, is the first Sunday of the NFL season! :rotfl: Our Steelers flag (much to DW's dismay :rotfl: ) was flying high outside today...the weather is perfect... "tailgate" party... for today - life was nearly "perfect" :)

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

I forgot you were a big Steelers' fan. What a game. It was over in the first quarter.

Its still speculation, but someone found a scheduled port entries in Northern Europe for the Disney Magic for 2010. Seems highly likely.

I wonder if Disney would purposely plant fake cruise reservations of ports to throw people off track.

I would guess that Disney has to book a port which will cost them money (and then the port authority enters the ship in its schedule & from there the PA put the information on their websites) but it would be soooo funny if Disney had!

We will find out in a month!

Ed, Kristen and Harry (and anyone else close to NYC)

We are planning a trip to NYC for my daughter's 10th birthday. It's all that she wants as she has never been there. I know how to plan a trip for my wife and I but not with the kids (we also have a 4 year old). It started as her wanting to do the whole american girl thing but since her first asking for the trip she has pretty much lost interest in American Girl. Would like to see American Girl Place but doesn't want to do the tea or any of the other activities. She DOES want to go to Toys R Us in Times Square as I have told her about it many times. We are planning to buy advance seats for one show (her choice among Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, Lion King and Wicked) and then try to score TIX booth for something else if possible.

We will likely do one "touristy" thing like the Statue of Liberty too.

What else should we be planning?

And re restaurants. I know where to go when it's just me and my wife as we have many favorite places but what about with kids.

We are likely staying at Jumeriah (the old Westin) Essex House on Central Park South.

I'm sure that once I hear some great ideas, I'll say, "of course..." but I'm just at a loss in planning.

Also, has Serendipity reopened? I heard they were closed down several months ago.

Thanks in advance to all who can help!

jeff

Jeff,

Hey let me know what show you decide to go to. My DH can get some great deals on tickets through his work. Let me know and I will send you over the codes if your interested.. F.A.O. Schwartz is a FUN place to go as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey thanks Kristin. We have to ask DD10 in such a way that she doesnt assume we are on for the trip because it depends on her behaviour whether she gets this great present (of course we are going to do it but she needs to think it can be canceled!) :rotfl: . But I will let you know. I'm angling for Little Mermaid but she has never seen Wicked and I think she wants to. Once I ask her later tonight, I'll send you a note.

BTW I just saw that Serendipity is reopened so that's good since we told her about the frozen hot chocolate 2 years ago and she has always wanted to do it. \

Yep

Ive seen then mentioned so far. Well glad I was not planning in cruising in 2010. I will wait for Alaska in 2011 or later after our 2009 cruise.

I know- I'm not interested in those itineraries at all. I would really love to do Alaska through DCL!!:goodvibes

Excellent start!! We're going to see them in Philly in 2 weeks & looking to get out to Pittsburgh at some point this season....

How was everybody's weekend? Sunday was hot- went to a birthday party cookout that had been postponed from Saturday, of course Saturday was torrential rain all day- thanks to Hurricane Hanna! Jordan's birthday is Friday- so trying to get ready for that. We are having her party at Chuckie Cheese on Saturday- I really don't like that place- but it sure makes the party clean-up and prep easy!!:goodvibes

LOL I actually TIVO'ed it, and fast fowarded through almost all- I didn't even know who some of those fools were!!:lmao:

You need a hobby! :rotfl2:

My favorite VMA moments though (again, aging myself....).. Pee Wee Herman opening with, "Heard any good jokes lately...."... Andrew Dice Clay getting banned from MTV.... Howard Stern as Fartman.... of course at the first VMA where Madonna humped the stage.... perhaps I need a hobby?!? :rotfl:
