HI All,

I am a single parent who will be on cruise with DS who will be 12 at the time. This will be our 5th cruise with DCL, but our first alone. I am nervous about this. I know DS will have no problems with kids club and finding friends, but when he is at the clubs, what can I do to not feel "alone"? I do plan on spending an afternoon in one of the Spa Villas I am also wondering what they will do with us at Dinnertime? We are on Main dining. Would they put us with another single parent and kids, or with a family?

Are there are single parents out there that will be on this cruise that are looking for some other adults to mingle with?

Maybe there is a separate thread for this and if so, please point me in that direction!

Hello everyone, Back from a perfect week on the Magic... We had a few bumps along the way with a hurricane out there but overall it was WONDERFUL!!!!!!! Soooooooooo sad to be home I want to be sitting outside right now @ Topsiders having our breakfast!!

I know it was such a FUN group to sail with.. We did a FE exchange that the kids totally loved. It was GREAT fun hoping we can get some fun stuff planned for our cruise!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you are all doing well. Kristin, glad you had a great cruise! I've been off of the internet for almost 3 weeks now, which has been driving me crazy, but I'm finally back on. Talk about withdraw! I thought for sure by now I'd be balled up in a corner drooling and convulsing. Anyway, take care!
