I'm here as well! I have been super busy...fixed up the artwork for the lanyards and working to get a proof copy check before I approve our order for printing, ordered some really cool things for the FE, and really focusing on doing things to find a new job!!! Even though summer break has started, it seems that I busier than ever!

I had a looong afternoon , meeting 49 families !! ( my students + their parents, today they got the final grades !!! 19 students got the Excellent grade !!!!!!!!!!!)

Very happy , but very TIRED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am working on the website - it is just afternoon here - have done a LOT of Disney stuff today!! It was fun to get it started.

In our part of the world , the teachers are afraid to meet the parents / students with the final grades..they mail them to us days after school is over !

Happy Anniversary!

Looks like we've all been busy with the FE. I've spent some time online watching tutorials for different ideas I have. There are some very creative people out there. Yesterday I bought the fabric to make our FE. Couldn't find any Disney fabric but I found a very cool retro tropical postcard fabric and a palm tree fabric for the background. The only issue for me is the palm trees are going horizontally instead of vertical (I was going to use this one as the background piece. Being the type A that I am I'll probably make two individual pockets and then sew them together, otherwise it will bother me. For those who have made one already, do you put anything in between the layers (front and back) to make it stiffer? I had originally planned on buying a heavier sunbrella outdoor type fabric but nothing was tropical enough. I am not a sewer, hoping to recruit Jim's grandma for this project. At 90 she loves projects.

Congratulations on your anniversary Kristen, hope you have a lovely evening. I am working my way through a huge "to do" list and I am not yet onto the FE projects but while I am doing the less exciting jobs I am planning them in my head!

Off to bed now - it is 11:45pm here and I have to be up early to fit in a work out on the Wii Active before the girls get up and then I have work in the afternoon but then hooray - it is the weekend!

Apart from WDW, is anyone doing anything else other than the parks in Orlando pre/post cruise.

We are doing another cruise!

I arrive in FL on 8/2 and am working in Tallahassee until 8/6.
(I normally work from home, but my project is in Florida.)
My kids and sister and her kids arrive 8/6.
We are probably doing Disney Quest 8/7.
We are on the 8/8 Western.
Then the 8/15 Eastern with y'all.
Then we are going to Universal on 8/22 and 8/23.
