Unfortunately the earth has not moved for me today![]()
It didn't make it up here to San Jose. Perhaps it didn't know the way....OK, now maybe that is tempting fate...
I think they are now saying it was a 5.4 - we had a 5.6 sometime last year and whilst it scares the living daylights out of you at first (loud bangs, big jolts of the whole house), it's not **that** bad. As long as it stays under a 6.....Hey, it keeps you on your toes. The way I look at it, the 'smaller' earthquakes are good as they relieve the stress on the fractures. I have my tent, bucket of supplies, camping equipment and water filter all accessible outside should the worst happen!
Have you ever tried one of those earthquake simulators. Its an interesting sensation - but you know you are safe. Its a totally different ballgame when the real thing happens.

Glad you're OK!!! I have not tried the earthquake simulators- it sounds interesting in a scary way.

sorry i haven't been on in a while. i actually lost internet connection and i've been very busy. so how is everyone doing?????
No worries up here in the North end of the state either, no major fault lines near by at least.
Lucky for me that I live in a mud hut
.if anything where to happen a bucket some water and half a day labor and Im back in business!!!!
