Hey There Everyone,,

Just check'in .. Busy week but the good news is everything checked out with my mom it is not cancer.. Thank goodness..!!!!!!!!!!!! Off to get the kids into the pool, then they are sleeping over my parents and we are going out to dnner and drinks with some friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope everyone has a GREAT SAURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone! Been busy enjoying the summer here... Saw new Batman movie last night - excellent!!! "I believe whatever doesn't kill you simply makes you... stranger..."

I recall that a couple of people here are headed to Williamsburg this summer. I have a guide book (not the official one, but a good book that lists all the stuff about the area - excellent book) and if anyone is interested just PM me and I can get it out to you.

As for the DVC trade - it was a mixed bag this time. We went with the Marriott Manor Club and had a couple of issues. None were vacation-destroyers, but more nuisance type. It was mostly with staff. For example - have you ever seen an exterior trash bin overflowing with trash at a Disney resort - for two straight days?!? The accommodations were a bit bigger than DVC, had a nicer dining room. We liked the gas grills that were available for use, too.

We are exactly 100 days from WDW!!

We saw our friend off to England the other night, too. The kids are kind of bummed - they look up to him as a "big brother"!

Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing well! The kids and I spent the weekend with my mom and step-dad, which was fun. Tomorrow soccer starts, and I'm sure it'll be super hot!! It's been REALLY quiet around here! You could hear a pin drop! I hope that means you are all out and about, enjoying yourselves!

OMG - just come back from seeing Mamma Mia with some of the other mom's from my son's class. What a hoot. Very cheesy, very silly, but so much fun. At the end, Colin Firth and Pierce Brosnan are in ABBA style spandex! I laughed so much I nearly peed my pants I will never watch James Bond in the same light again!

Also trying to book a trip to Disneyland for my birthday. I'll be checking out the appropriate section on DL on the Dis, but if anyone has any recommendations for off site hotels (or ones to avoid) I'd be grateful.
