How was your weekend????!

Busy as usual!! Next weekend we are going to Ocean City with some friends(adults only) for some jet skiing (never been:scared1: ) and some seafood restaurant down there. I haven't been to Ocen City since I was in high school- I really don't like it!! But we'll have fun with our friends- hopefully!! :lmao:

Why don't you like Ocean City (DW has asked to visit there a few times, but we've never been)?

Well, basically everyone from Baltimore goes there, so it's like your in Baltimore just at the beach- alot of riff-raff. And since I grew up in Baltimore city- I am too- but I don't want to hang out with all of my old neighbors from "the hood". LOL:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Hopefully we'll have fun!:thumbsup2

Understood! Same reason I refuse to visit NJ beaches (well, not because people from Baltimore are there... :rotfl: ), but I think you know what I am talking about.

How are all of you Californians doing? Everyone OK with the earthquake- I just read it was a 5.8- did you guys feel it? :grouphug:

Hey Harry- I read on another thread that T-Rex place will open in late November.:thumbsup2 When are you going to WDW?

Unfortunately the earth has not moved for me today :rotfl2:

It didn't make it up here to San Jose. Perhaps it didn't know the way.... :rotfl2: OK, now maybe that is tempting fate...

I think they are now saying it was a 5.4 - we had a 5.6 sometime last year and whilst it scares the living daylights out of you at first (loud bangs, big jolts of the whole house), it's not **that** bad. As long as it stays under a 6.....:scared1: Hey, it keeps you on your toes. The way I look at it, the 'smaller' earthquakes are good as they relieve the stress on the fractures. I have my tent, bucket of supplies, camping equipment and water filter all accessible outside should the worst happen!

Have you ever tried one of those earthquake simulators. Its an interesting sensation - but you know you are safe. Its a totally different ballgame when the real thing happens.

Earthquakes scares the heck out of me too, It effects our bonuses.
The larger the quake the more exposure we have, the small the bonus.

I work for a Major Reinsurance company, earthquakes, Hurricanes, etc. we have a piece of it.

We're fine, thanks! We felt it; my students immediately did duck and cover, I think they were under their desks before I was! But we evacuated safely and spent the last 40 minutes of the school day out on the football field. It was a good reminder to all of us what to do in an emergency. Plus the kids were happy because they got out of the day's assignment!

Evening All.....

Have you seen or heard of Graham Norton? He's an Irish comedian who does a chat show on the BBC in the UK. They also show it on BBC America over here. He constantly makes jokes about Amy Winehouse and shows some really awful pictures. He also picks on Camilla Parker Bowles (Mrs Prince Charles) and Heather Mills (who was married to Paul McCartney for a while). Its certainly not a show for younger viewers or those that are easily offended!! But we have a great laugh at it.

Good just busy with the kids and all. But good how are you.. Going to NYC in Aug....!!!!!!!!!! It is a weekday for a night....!!!!!!!!!!

We're doing well - thanx.

We've done 1 trip to NYC this summer and will heading back on one of these upcoming weekends. I'm personally not a fan of the throngs of tourists in the summer though...
