Hey Amigo!! Sounds like you're having a GREAT time!!! :thumbsup2 With all of these wild women around here I was beginning to fear for you :rotfl2: You'll be glad to know that so far I had raised $2.35. Maybe I'll get a cup of coffee tomorrow instead, now that I know you're OK that is!!! :drinking1

Hey Frank, was that money non-refundable? ;)

Well I guess that drops me out of the equation. With us want-a-be cowboys, that’s the first thing that comes to mind. I guess I’m more of a Coors Light and Rodeo kind of a guy! :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: (they need a smiley on a bucking horse here!!!)

:rotfl: Frank, I think this is the best one I could come up with. I hope you like it! ;)

Have a fab day, everyone!!!

:lmao: We are having a great time. Spent the morning at the pool and we are back at the condo taking a break from the sun - it's brutally hot today. The girls got up at 5:50 a.m. today. :scared1: Don't know if they'll make the fireworks on the beach tonight. We aren't sure what's up for dinner yet tonight (today is my birthday so it's my choice! - the big 4-9. The last birthday I plan to celebrate out loud. :rotfl:

Happy fourth to all. Even you Karen! :rotfl:

Happy Birthday!!

Happyt Birthday Jeff off to MK this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope everyone is having a nice holiday weekend! Fireworks went off last night - though it rained for about 10 minutes during the show. We debated almost up until the last minute on whether to go or not....

Back to usual grind today though - morning swim practices, etc. Now we are in "packing" mode for our DVC trade to Williamsburg. Well actually DW is in that mode - the rest of us just watch and laugh!! :rotfl: Actually... we help... a little...

A friend from England is coming over this week to join us on our trip, too - so there will be a bit of extra planning - juggling schedules to make sure someone picks him up from the airport!

Looks like everyone took the day "off" or something?! Just giving us a bump here....

Hi Harry! For the love of God, help DW before she loses her sanity!! :rotfl: That's neat about your friend joining you!

Wow, this place has been SLOW!!! Hopefully that means the holiday weekend has been good for everyone! On Thursday we watched fireworks here, yesterday was cookout/birthday party for my niece, tonight we went to a cookout and fireworks with friends at a lake nearby, and tomorrow is Gwynne's family birthday party. I haven't even bought food, cleaned the house or anything yet and it starts at 1 (in 13 hours!!). :scared1: I do my best work under extreme pressure. :rotfl2: I hope everyone is doing well. :)

Happy belated birthday Jeff!!!

whoa! this is one looong thread!

hey there, i am just poking in to say hello...my family is currently booked on a may '09 trip but with the deposit special now i am looking at booking an alternative date 'just in case.' my just in case scenarios are #1 if dd misses too much school and we can't take her out in may to go and / or #2 if the economy continues to tank...if we are stuck with too many absences i was thinking about going on this cruise.

have any of you sailed in the eastern caribbean in august before? i am just worried about the heat? anyone been to tortola?

well, i hope you don't mind if i hang around a bit and ask some questions while i'm trying to figure out our plans!

oh, btw, i got a quote of about $5500 for 2 adults / 1 child for a cat 6 - is that a decent price for this time of year (i got a little bit better for our may sailing so i was just curious). thanks!

Hey! Except for holiday weekends, we are a pretty chatty bunch (this is the 3rd thread we're currently working on)!

Not a fan of the heat myself so we tend to steer clear of Florida in the summer & Caribbean cruises; however, our oldest is now in middle school and taking him out of school is no longer an option (though he misses a couple of days when we go to WDW, but not a full week). We just received his report card in the mail (go figure - school ended on 6/20) and he only missed 2 days of school all of last year and they were in November when we took him out for a trip. Knock on wood - he didn't get sick at all last year.
