Hey all,

Just in from drinks with a girlfriend. I'm in "rare" form.. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kristin-

Are you feeling any pain today?! :rotfl: I was in rare form because of a Nyquil cocktail, but that's not quite the same thing!!! Yours sounds more fun.

Hi, everyone! It's been a while since I've posted ... This thread moves at lightning speed!

I feel for everyone having to deal with the airline price increases - We live near Tampa, so we are blessed just to have to drive to WDW/DCL, but when we decide to visit DL again, I know it's gonna hurt! The cost of the cruise alone is enough to have to budget for, but the airfare would just be too much!

We just cruised last month with our kids on a 3 Night, but DCL keeps throwing those FL Resident deals out there and DH and I bit for another 3 Night next week! When I compare what a hotel stay, meals, and entertainment for 3 nights would cost to what this cruise is costing us, there's no second guessing. Cruising is the way to go.

We did get our ressie transferred to Carol - jd99, We booked onboard with DCL for the discount and the OBC's, but then transferred to DU b/c we had used them on our previous cruises. Once I posted to this thread, I learned about the group amenities Carol was offering, in addition to matching DU's OBC's. It took about a week, but I was able to ask DU to release our ressie back to DCL. Once that was done, I let Carol know and she was able to transfer it to her. So there is hope! The rep at DU was very understanding about us wanting our ressie to be released to DCL. It's worth a try!

I wish all you fathers out there a great Father's Day for all you do - If you're a Disney Dad, your kids are twice blessed!

Later,
Rose :)

Hey Rose! You lucky woman! Two cruises in such a short time! Have a wonderful time next week. It's good to hear from you too. :)

I may need the pain reliever later.
I closed our storage unit today and moved:moped: all the items into the house or garage. It took 3 trips to move all the items. The heat today didnt help any

Yikes. That's not a way to spend Father's Day Eve! :rotfl2:

Thanks Kristin! I don't know if it was a cold or a touch of the flu, but I'm much better today. What did you have going on today?

We just got back from taking the kids to a carnival. I coaxed Hayden in to riding on a ride similar to the viking ship, and I seriously thought he was going to freak out on me!! We were with my niece and her BF in the very back seat. He sat between them so I told them if he puked it was going to be on them. :rotfl2: He says he will "never ever ever" ride that thing again. :rotfl: I might be a bad mom but I can't help but laugh about the whole thing. We are going to King's Island in two weeks and I need someone to ride big rides with!!! So I suppose there will be no talking him in to riding the Beast with me. :lmao:

Let us know how you're doing tomorrow Ed. You may be downing pain relievers like they are going out of style!! (but for your sake I hope not) :)

4 years - My Daddy can do anything!

7 years - My Dad knows a lot - a whole lot!

8 years - My father doesn’t know everything.

12 years - Oh, well, Father doesn’t know that either.

14 years - My father? He’s hopelessly old-fashioned.

21 years - Oh, man - he is out of date!

25 years - He knows a little bit about it, but not much.

30 years - I must find out what Dad thinks about it.

35 years - Before we decide, we will get Dad’s idea first.

50 years - What would Dad have thought about that?

60 years - My Dad knew literally everything!

65 years - I wish I could talk it over with Dad once more........

Hi everyone! :wave2:

Just wanted to check in and say "hi!" Hope you're all happy and healthy... :goodvibes

I've given it a lot of thought and decided that if Samuel enjoys his first cruise this summer, he and I will be sailing with you all in August 2009!!! :cool1: :woohoo: :cool1: Put our names back on that list - quick!!! ;) I haven't cancelled the ressie and I really want Samuel to experience Castaway Cay :cloud9: soooo it's pretty much a done deal... :thumbsup2

Anyway, I've just made the scariest purchase of my life - and it wasn't a Barry Manilow CD!!! I've bought two tickets (one for me, one for Samuel) to the Universal Studios Horror Night in October!!! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

I'm a complete baby but Samuel's desperate to go sooo I got the tickets - OMG the thing's we do as parents... :headache:
