Hi Kristin! Just finished cleaning up after the 'smores :) What fantastic weather we had this weekend, eh?!

I spent some of the day assembling Keira's new bike (for her birthday tomorrow), but most of the weekend was just enjoying the outdoors!

Sounds like you had a super weekend too!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday Keira!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought stuff for s'mores but did not make them.. I think we will have to next weekend for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Kristin and Harry.

Today was cookout day. Burgers and steak sandwiches for lunch. Chicken and corn for dinner, with crescents rolls

The Homemade ice cream was delicious too

Just a day to hang out at home. Broke out a board game and the family had fun.

Only downside, I noticed one of my car's tires was flat. Well good thing for Triple A. :rotfl: Looks like it pays for itself this year.

Hey guys, is everybody well rested??? We went to the mall this morning- got a shirt at the Disney Store- they had lots of cute summer stuff, then I took a nap while my DH did the lawn, then we went out for dinner at Texas Roadhouse- mmmm- good ribs!!

At least you caught the flat tire today and not tomorrow morning before work.:furious:

Well I had the mini tire put on the car, so I could drive to Town Fair Tire this morning and have them fix the flat. It was a nail in the tire.

Did everyone take the day off from here or what?!

I saved you all some cake.....

Love the cake. Tell her Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did she enjoy the bike????!!!!!!!!!!

We're back. What a wonderful trip - exhausting but great. I still can't believe we were pixie dusted to concierge at the GF. That stuff only happens to other lucky people. Kids had fewer meltdowns than normal disney trips :rotfl: so I guess they think that is the style they should become accustomed to.

Now to figure out what the heck I need to catch up on workwise.

Happy day everyone.
jeff

Weather was pretty good. We did get rained on a couple of times - including one huge storm at the MK just as we were getting off of Splash Mountain. Heard the thunder as we were going down the big hill. That was scary.

We hit everything but AK though we had dinner at BOMA one night so we were able to go out and look at some animals. spent most of our time at MK plus a day at Epcot and a half day at the Studios. The Toy Story ride is probably the most fun ride they have added in a long time. Can't wait til our California trip since DCA is adding it there too!

Walking through the lobby of the hotel every night, we looked at the model of the Magic and sighed. Cruising is definitely more relaxing for our family even though we do a ton of stuff on the cruises. We were really on the go almost every day of this trip. My one piece of advice to myself is to NEVER do extra magic hours at the MK and then turn around and do a night-time party like Pirates and Princesses the next night. By the end of P&P I can truly say I was "parked out"

How did you like Boma- we didn't care for dinner there. But will try breakfast next time we stay there.
