That's too funny! Ours is making its way from the East Coast to California. I wish I had ordered from the same place as you - I would probably have it by now!!!

Never mind, it should be here over the weekend, so not too long now...

I picked our Wii fit up from Target at 8.30 in the morning - the guy expected to be sold out within half an hour. But the local Gamestop (next door) still had some in at lunchtime.

-Kay

My Wii is now in Illinois. :goodvibes Apparently our stores around here are sold out now. My boss did get her hands on the Wii Ski game.

Is anyone up for either a wii-fit support group (sounds like an addiction LOL!!!) or a weight loss support group? I really want to loose more... (OK... need to loose more - wish we could just go :wizard: and it was all gone!)

On the subject of weight loss, did anyone see a documentary from the BBC (shown on BBC america) called Super Skinny Me. Very interesting, and very disturbing. It basically followed two reporters as they attempted to go to a US size 0 (UK size 6) over 5 weeks. Certainly an eye opener!

I think one of my legs might be a size 0 - not sure about the other :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

-Kay

I'm all for being held accountable for the amount of exercise I do (or lack thereof)! They tried to get to a size 0 in 5 weeks? What size were they when they started? Yesterday my co-workers were talking about a model who, at 5'9" and 135 lbs, was told she was fat, so she dropped an additional 30 lbs to fit the ideal. :scared1: That's terrible. 5'9 and 135 lbs is skinny already.

OMG. Hopefully none of those BBC folks will be watching my family when it's dinner time on the cruise.....
I'd better get out and run some more!! (although, I gotta face it, I'm NEVER gonna be a size 0. I'd settle for a 10!)

On a more fun note (cuz thinking about losing weight makes my head hurt..) I am so excited about this cruise - and DH may even be more excited.
Anyone else out there with DS who is 13 (14 by the time of the cruise) and DD who will be 9???

Hey! There are several (I think) other DD's who will be 9. My DS will be 9. Who cares if there are BBC people on the cruise watching at dinner time! MY DH will tell you right now the main reason he cruises is to EAT!

MY DH too Abby!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: I'm still at work, we had to stay for some testing of the system, of course we're not doing the testing. :confused3 At least I'm getting some OT. Anyway I am doing some research on BWV, for our pre trip cruise stay for next year, the vacation OCD is kicking in, because I don't have any Disney trips planned until next year.:scared1: It looks nice at BWV- anybody on here stayed there before?

Hi, everyone!
Well, I'm just waiting for our reservation to be transferred to Carol (what a great TA!) ... WOW - With DCL's rebooking OBC's of $200/stateroom and her additional $100/stateroom, we will have $600 total OBC's for this cruise!
That will definitely pay for tips, drinks (I limit myself to one cocktail and one after dinner drink/coffee a day), and souvenirs.
Hopefully, all we will have to pay for will be excursions!
Plus, I'm hoping that the group will vote for the Palo Brunch amenity, but we will be happy with whatever we get!
As for losing weight, I lost 18 lbs. before our 3 night cruise, but gained back 5 of it (which I expected).
I would like to lose another 15 lbs. before the cruise - With over a year to do it, I should have no problem.
We have the Wii, but I prefer to do DDR with my DS13. He immensely enjoys beating me each time!
jbm02 - My DS Eric will be 14 1/2 (DOB 12/15/94) and my DD Gina will be 9 (DOB 08/03/00) at the time of the cruise, so we'll have to introduce our kids to each other! We also have DS Patrick, who will be 11 (DOB 05/17/98), so anyone with a DS11, let me know!
That's all for now ... Got to get a load of laundry in the washer, another one folded, and the house all tidy in time for the 2 hour season finale of Grey's Anatomy!
Later,
Rose :)

Hi everyone! The sun is supposed to make a rare appearance here for the holiday weekend!!! :)

On the Disney front - they still have not posted November hours - quite a few people are really ticked off, too. We make our ADRs and will just deal with it at this point.

Greetings from WDW.

We have already had an incredibly magical day. We arrived at the GF and were greeted by a concierge as we got off the Magic Express Bus. Much confusion on our part since we booked a garden view regular room and just were hoping to be placed in one of the buildings we had been recommended.

Well, we were pixie dusted big time and upgraded to concierge in the main building. Speechless. Truly. THEN there was apparently a problem with the room we were assigned (a water pipe burst I believe) and so we were further upgraded to a deluxe room on the 4th floor. One of the ones with a huge living area, sofa and chair - I'd call it a junior suite in most hotels -- with a killer view of the MK fireworks.

What an absolutely perfect start to our trip - truly beyond perfect. We had a great meal at Chef Mickey's, a little bit of MK time and a nice afternoon hanging at the pool while we waited for our room to be ready. Just got done watching Wishes from our balcony. Time for bed.

The program was about how crazy and unhealthy it was to aspire to being a size 0, not that it was an ideal. As I recall, they were about a size 6/8 (UK size 10/12) when they started...

I'm staying there in October with DS Samuel!!! :thumbsup2 Can't wait as I love the EPCOT resort area...
