Oh gosh I'd like to kill Bruce but he still brings it.. It was worse at his old job we would be in line for a ride and he would be emailing.. When we went to WDW with his work once you knew they were all from the same company standing there in the park with the blackberry out emailing one another. I think at one point four or five of them were all in the same line for splash mountain emailing each other.. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! It was FUNNY!!!!!!!!! Fun trip though they closed AK for us one night. It was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am looking very forward to spring/summer EXCEPT the older my dog gets the more afraid he is of storms. At 12:30 this morning he started to panic because he could tell a storm was coming in. He did this last week too. DH and I seriously thought the poor boy was going to have hear failure and not live through the night. The other thing too is it is very difficult to be sympathetic to a freaked out dog in the middle of the night when you know you have to get up in a few hours. So I've resorted to locking him out of our bedroom during freak out mode. Do any of you have any suggestions? There is absolutely no consoling him during these times. If you have read the book "Marley and Me" this is what he is starting to remind me of. He has always been fearful of storms but never quite this bad.

Our last dog was like that as well. During a T-Storm he would just shake and hide. If the storm was at night he would jump on our bed and run right on top of us, etc. Talk about a rude awakening!! :rotfl2: Anyway - we just dealt with it..... thankfully T-Storms aren't that frequent here!

How's it going Harry????!!!!!!!!!!

How's it going Harry????!!!!!!!!!!

It's going okay.... busy at work this week & I start up with heavy soccer coaching again this week, too.

Next week I have to attend a conference in Atlantic City for 3 days. I hate that town! On one day I actually have to drive back (70 miles each way) to coach a soccer game! Fingers crossed for some April showers that day!! :)

How is it going with you. You have a WDW trip coming up, right?

I can't stand Atlantic City either, been twice- both before DH and I went to Vegas- we won't ever go back. We don't really gamble(may put some quarters in the machine, but not too much- takes away from my Disney trips LOL), but loved Vegas!! Kristen, I know you are excited about WDW!!!

Hey everyone! (Hi Karen! Hope you are having a fantastic time!) This is another installment of the never-ending DH surgery saga. He is having surgery again this Friday to try to find out what is going on. He's got my full and complete sympathy now. This is really wearing me down, so I can only imagine how he's feeling. I am not sure how much longer this is going to put him off work. Fortunately that is the least of our worries right now. Thanks to the good ole' post office benefits, he still has sick time out the ying-yang. But it'll be nice when life can get back to normal, and I can quit using my vacation time for things other than vacation. I have 10 1/2 months to go and only 6 vacation days left.

That's just it. My mental health right now is hanging on by a thread, and it's only April!!!!!!!!! It kind of irks me that I can't use sick time for family issues. Although, this Friday would have been the last sick day since we get only 4 a year. :sad2: I know, I know, I should be happy we get anything. It's just very frustrating to me. And I could totally kick myself. At the end of my calendar year I had 3 days of vacation I had to use or lose. My boss said I could carry it over for a short time, but I said no, I'd use it. Then the next week was when all this happened with Dave.

AC is just nasty. The slums and crack houses in between the casinos... it's pretty gross.

Kristin-

How is your week going?? How did the cultural day go? Did you get your packing done too?

My week has been nuts. Cultural Day was a ton of FUN!!!!!! The kids loved it. But I'm beat. Tomorrow, early morning my bedroom furniture is being delivered... So we have to make sure our bed is out tonight so the new one can come in.. Gosh, I soooo need a vacation after this week...LOL!!!!!!

How is Dave today...!!!!!!!!!!
