I keep checking for the release of November park hours so we can do some initial planning. Before Tim got older we used to go in March, but it's near impossible to pull him out for a week anymore. I really could use a trip down there right now!

Early November.... schools here are closed the first week on Thurs. & Friday and again on the next Monday. They have 1/2 days Mon.-Wed on that first week, too. So we're doing the same time we did last year. We'll be there for opening night of MVMCP, too - which we really love.

Congrats on your wait-list success. We're booked for SSR, but next week we hit the 7-month window and may opt to try and get BWV (though AKL would be cool, but I understand that'll be next to impossible to get).

Hey everyone! (Hi Karen! Hope you are having a fantastic time!) This is another installment of the never-ending DH surgery saga. He is having surgery again this Friday to try to find out what is going on. He's got my full and complete sympathy now. This is really wearing me down, so I can only imagine how he's feeling. I am not sure how much longer this is going to put him off work. Fortunately that is the least of our worries right now. Thanks to the good ole' post office benefits, he still has sick time out the ying-yang. But it'll be nice when life can get back to normal, and I can quit using my vacation time for things other than vacation. I have 10 1/2 months to go and only 6 vacation days left.

Oh gosh Abby... I'm sooo sorry to hear that...Please know I'm thinking of both of you!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you need some "me" time. Can you schedule something for a week or two out that would be nice for you? Perhaps lunch with a friend, a pedicure, a massage, a facial - just something for you to look forward to!

Greetings all. I've been missing again but due to no good reason (just work and laptop problems). I got a new laptop yesterday and it is screaming fast. Love it!

Busy week here as my swimming, dancing daughter also decided to take up soccer. And we are at the place where all three activities intersect so we have something going on every night (and Saturdays too). But no complaints from me. An active child is a happy child.
