Howdy All,
We’re all signed up to be on the cruise with you. Actually we were supposed to be on the western cruise during Easter 2009, but things came up such as they will in life (this was a better deal anyway). We are me, Frank (DH), DW and DD (9-now). I happened upon the first link a couple of days ago and have had it under surveillance (I like surveillance, to me lurking sounds a bit too perverse). The cruise is over 14 months away and this is the third link, Wow! The last cruise meet I participated in only got to something like maybe 100 pages the entire time. This will be our 2nd DCL cruise; the first was a 4 night last New Years, I had a cold before we left, sick as a dog but had the time of my life. We’ve been to WDW twice and DL more times that I can count. So, in the words of Claude from Along Came Polly “So, tell me true. Are you guys for SCUBA?” (I tried to figure out how to embed a wav. file with that clip, but not quite savvy enough). Any other diver in the bunch, and if so have you ever dove St. Thomas and is it worth looking into? Also, someone has built website for this trip, impressive! Anyway I could get a website address or a link? Thanks in advance – Frank.

Hey Frank - welcome!!! Glad to have another movie person on board!! :rotfl:

"It's like zee story of zee heeppo...."

That sounds like a nice idea! Yeah, it does get expensive! Nikki is our resident scrapbook queen. I'm just a fair-weather scrapbooker. Aside from this project do you do it as well? I apologize if we have already talked about this! I have the memory of, well, uh, what were we talking about? :lmao:

Kristin-
After school is out and things start to calm down a little bit can we start adding stuff to the website?

Did someone call me?

I have added our new familys to the first page list

Welcome Aboard all :wave2:

Did anyone PM the website to all the people who asked for it today (I hate duplicating efforts)? The only person I PM'd it to was Jeff.

Kristin - Probably have to add & delete some names off that website now, too eh?

I am trying to do some. It started last year when my son's 1st grade teacher organized a class (parent) project of doing scrapbooks for the kids (showcasing their work, trips, art etc). I thought it was a nice way to keep the kids school memories together so I am trying to do the same for this year and his K year.

I don't think I really know what I am doing, but some of it looks OK - I am just making it all up as I go along. I certainly am not an expert. Perhaps I can pick the brains of the resident scrapbook queen before, during and after the cruise. All hail the mighty scrap book queen.:worship: :worship: :worship:

Nikki, are you a traditional scrapper or a digital scrapper?

I'll answer for her. She's traditional until she mixes scrapbooking and drinking, then her work becomes an abstract artform that she has to redo. She probably wishes she was a digital scrapbooker at that point. :lmao: Just kidding Nikki!

I myself would love to try digital because I'm super slow at the other. I only got up to day 2 done of my cruise last Oct. and that was 30 pages. It'll take me another 2 years to get the rest done!

Hey Kristin! How are you? What kinds of things did you do at the party? As soon as my kids are out of school I need to get in planning mode for next year's PTO activities/fundraisers.

I also scrapbook when I have the time (which isn't often). My dream is to have a scrapbook room where I can leave all my stuff out. The hardest part is setting up and cleaning up. I do meet with a group once a month which helps me get motivated. I am not very original with my pages, but it is fun.
