Hi Treasure seekers,

I need some help in deciding on who to use for Travel insurance for this trip. Last time I just took the insurance offered by Disney.

Any recomemations on who to use?
I have been checking some of the sites and I am getting overloaded with the options.

I use "insure my trip" you get a whole burnch of companies with there rates and you can compare. It is cheaper then Disney's. I forgot the actual company I went with (I can find out for you), but I used them for both cruises. Luckily I haven't had to file a claim so I can't comment how they did with that.

Yup, raining and icky and cold here too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Your going to have soo much FUN~What parks are you going to do?? Got any dinners planned???!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We're doing AK, MK, and Epcot, also the P&P party. Dinners are Boma, Coral Reef, Planet Hollywood, we are doing Chef Mickey's for breakfast (for the first time- we always go for dinner), also that Safari?? breakfast in AK (first time), Cinderella's Royal Table for lunch before the P&P party.

Ed - I got a recommendation from a fellow cruiser on my Nov. 2006 DCL. He also used insuremytrip but then picked TravelEx and it was about half of the price of the DCL insurance. The reason I took his recommendation is that he actually got sick on the cruise (there was an outbreak of the stomach thing/norovirus that year if you remember). He filed with Travelex and got a settlementeven though he got sick on the last night of the cruise. They also reimbursed him for other expenses. I think he had to stay over in Orlando a night because he was driving but couldn't do the drive home. He said it was easy to deal with and they couldn't have been nicer about it all. I thought that was a great thing so I used them for my August Mexican Riviera cruise and yep, it was just a little more than 50 percent the cost of going through DCL.
